Mathew
Just curious, I've seen them mentioned on this board a bit, and some part of the Post Apocalypse Hero book seem to be very Thundarr inspired, but has anyone written up the character sheets up for Thundarr, Ookla and Ariel? Lord Liaden
Re: "Ookla, Ariel, we ride!" - Anyone ever written up character sheets for Thundarr? Sadly, I'm not aware of Hero write-ups for any of the Thundarr the Barbarian crew. HOWEVER, for fans of that cartoon series, I heartily recommend this website for the awesome Hero System "Thundarr-esque" post-apocalyptic fantasy RPG campaign world, created by artist/cartographer/Hero forum colleague Keith Curtis: THE SAVAGE EARTH

pinecone
Re: "Ookla, Ariel, we ride!" - Anyone ever written up character sheets for Thundarr? I once adventured next to Ariel in a champs game (aprox 1 Billion years ago... )
Mathew
Re: "Ookla, Ariel, we ride!" - Anyone ever written up character sheets for Thundarr? Well, just looking at the first few episodes online: Thundarr - high end normal human with lots of physical skills. Survival, Acrobatics. His sun sword his a killing attack, and missile reflection. Understands Mok language. Ariel - knowledge of ancient earth, magic includes EB (extra KB), entangle, TK, Force Wall, teleportation, mind control, change environment, missile reflection vs. magic. All require gestures. Ookla - Superhuman strength and con. Dislikes water. carries a bow. cat-likes senses and curiosity. Rides an "equte". These three might fit in a 250 point project. Ahem, you may all be interested in this little ditty a friend of mine linked me to: http://www.savageafterworld.com/2012/03/world-of-thundarr-barbarian-sourcebook.html It isn't for Hero per se, but it sure seems like the perfect source book. Badger
Re: "Ookla, Ariel, we ride!" - Anyone ever written up character sheets for Thundarr? I do wonder how to write up THundarr's unique special ability. The enemy constantly underestimating his stupidity. Mutant #1: Come on, man we outnumber Thundarr, 50 to 1, no way will he be dumb enough to charge us. Thundarr (charging): YAYYAAAAAAAAAA

Badger
Re: "Ookla, Ariel, we ride!" - Anyone ever written up character sheets for Thundarr? Presence attack? Heh. Maybe Thundarr just has an immunity (called obliviousness) to opposing PRE attacks.
