Barton
Re: Pulping other systems Tried Spirit of the Century. I did not like it much at all. The flavor was a bit off for me, and the mechanics are not my cup of tea.

Anyone here have any play experience with it?
Barton
Re: Pulping other systems My impression also was one-shot games for Spirit of the Century, I could not see an easy way to make it a extended campaign.
RexMundi
Re: Pulping other systems It doesn't excalate to campaigns well at all. It's an Awesome one shot beer and pretzles game though. The campaign issue isn't so much a Spirit of the Century fault, it's an ingrained flaw of the Fate/Fudge system as a whole...Still, Great game well worth the price and a must have for Pulp fans because of the way it presents the atmosphere. ~Rex

But the mechanics and lack of character advancement, ummm, ....
