Turmoil
Hi All Just starting 'brain'storming' for a low-powered DAC game. I'm looking to the great Hive-mind of the forums for ideas. I've not run out of ideas, but i'm just looking for suggestions that i may never consider. I've listed below some very basic ideas i have (all can be subject to change ) PC's built on 175 with 50 complications Using 6th Edition Based in England All players are part of Other Organizations but work for ?? (Not decided on name yet) Inspirations are Delta Green (No Cthulhu though) Torchwood (But more dark and grim) Conspiracy X (But less global) Thinking of weak or latent psi talents (not sure about this) Reverse engineered Alien tech (eg Majestics 12) Alien presence very hidden with possibility of multiple races of which some are working with the Government? hmmm Possible first 'Eruption' of Super-powers from Alien contagion/plague/bio-engineering??? (Thinking of Progenitor here) I'm open to any ideas and thought it might be fun to brain-storm to get some cool ideas.
Cygnia
Re: Torchwood Style, Delta Green Brainstorming Mandatory complications: Carries Idiot Ball 11-, Must Be Wangsty (Seriously, I wanted to smack RTD for some of the crap Torchwood did)

Christopher
Re: Torchwood Style, Delta Green Brainstorming Are the aliens limited to humaniod forms/gendertypes? If not, I have some very interesting concepts from another RPG....
freakboy6117
Re: Torchwood Style, Delta Green Brainstorming Charles Stross Laundry novels are a pretty good example i'm using them as part of the basis for my UK hero agencies I'm also using elements from UNIT and Torchwood as well as SPECTRUM and SHADO. UNIT is an ad hoc assembly of personnel drawn from the UK military make up the UN-explained Incident Investigation Task-force they are assisted by a various civilian scientific/specialist advisers. one element i was working on for UNIT was "Combat archaeology" an investigative force who would go into unexplained incidents and secure and assessing the situation think SG1 scientists linguists and archaeologists backed up by spec ops security. You may find some useful elements among them. The Phenomena Department Shadows Angelus Silent Mobius Zeta
