I'm always a tad leery of Burton - his stuff always *looks* great, but whether or not he manages to tell an interesting story is a crapshoot, so I'll be waiting for the reviews. But a couple people I know have said the books were fun, so maybe it'll be ok. One described it as "emo YA X-Men, but urban fantasy instead of superheroes." Of course I always thought the original X-Men were pretty damn emo YA X-Men.
