Roter Baron
I am pondering the idea to start a Godlike Champions campaign - that is NOT an ultra-powerful supers campiagn with characters with 20d6 EBs and 2000+ character-points but the setting of the rpg GODLIKE: Soldiers in WW2 with superpowers that are less than super-flashy and rather one-tracked. You might be strong but not particual tough, you might have ablast-power but no FF etc. Is there anyone out there who has already done that and might share his experiences or things to take into consideration? This just seems like a supers game with a campaign setting, so go for it!!!!!
TheQuestionMan
I have not played a Godlike/Golden Age Champions campaign setting, but I plotted one out. 1. Handout a Campaign Setting and Character Creation Guidelines for Players. 2. Provide examples of Heroes, Villains, and Soldiers in combat. Include Character Sheets. 3. Some theme powers/sfx include more than one power. Werewolf, Vampire, Promethians (Frankenstein), Robots/Drones (GI Robot), etc... 4. Code vs Killing in War? The Comic Book code? 5. Resources; Godlike, Golden Age Champions, Pulp Hero, The Day After Ragnarock, GURPS Weird War II, etc... 6. The Howling Commandos, Easy Company, the Devil's Brigade, etc... More later... bubba smith
the comics code was created in the 50s as for power levels i'd say TEEN CHAMPIONS with the heroes having 1 or 2 powers
