  1. Heya ! I have a doubt about the CE power and the basics effects it has on the character that uses it. P177 of the Hero System book, is an example of the Weather Control CE power. If I read it well, it doesn't say that one character using this power would be unaffected by it. So what ? Does Stomr from the X-Men get all frisky or blasted by high winds whebn she use it too, or am I missing something ?   2. Re: Earlier version of the Champions Superteam I master a campaign in the CNM setting. Most of the team members are pretty interesting, but I have to admit two of them are very diffciult to control. Seeker and Behemoth. The first because he's killer in background and has nothing stopping him from killing people except the palyer common sense - a bit like Wolverine in a way - and Behemoth himself is hyper dangerous when he enrages with his monstrous demonic form and his super high Strength. And, they are too the most powerful members of the team , built with more than 500 character points each... Yes I do run an unbalnced character campaign but it allows me more suppleness. To be able to control those two, I had to make sure to have the good players for them, and to keep an eye on them more than others. New Millenium Opale

One thing that makes me laugh about Champions and any other comics or rpg about superheroes, is that french super are pictured kinda grotesque. On the other hand, most of french people think superheroes are grotesque, so I guess it's a good revenge But, I doubt this character would be really of french heritage, because his mother wouldn't let him wear this horrible costume lol Thanks anyway, Enforcer, as always, a pleasure to read your creations.   5. Re: Superhero team Leader: PC or NPC? Interesting topic. From my own experience, NPC do better leader of the Team when it comes to keep the game balanced and stick to a concept. It's a great tool to control players when there is a need to. On the other hand, it makes some players feel they are not "in command"... well in fact there not in command, but I'm not blonde enough to tell them so I'm open to ideas and suggestions, but you can't trust a group of players to keep the game balanced for their own sake, at least it's this way in France... A good balance is to have a NPC leader for the campaign setting and morality rails, and a PC leader for the action scenery. Leading Opale. Sir, yes Sir !

Hello ! here is a question about an argument we are having on 6 E2 p84, Choke Hold and Atemi Stirke Martial art maneuvers, both NND maneuvers If a Character is having the following defenses, on a Density Increased SFX character based, will she be affected by a simple 4 point character cost maneuver ? it seems to be the case if we follow the rules strictly on the rule, but it seems too largely unbalanced. Defenses are : rPD 30 & rED 30, defenses are Hardened and Impenetrable. The resistant defense is simply a Skin reinfoced by a Density Increase power. Choke Hold indicates you need a Life Support : Self contained Breathing to resist it, as you crush the target throat and Atemi Strike a Rigid Armor. Thank you for the help that may seem childish and silly, but quite needed for a whole uunderstanding and coherence setting. Regards Opale

And he gets diarreah everytime I propose him an enw character, been unsure of the control he has on the Game ^^ I can understand that tough I tend to be willing to create strange or complex characters.   12. Re: A Rogue Like character well, there is the Require Skin contact limiter, the NCC limiter was to put she can't stop herself when touching someone skin. If you see another way to do it. Good note on the Knocked out thingy. But How to make the whole framework effect fade within a minute ? which limiter to use ?
  13. Helloooo ! Here is another of my questions about building one of my favorite Marvel character power framework. Rogue. She's a power stealer at first, and her touch cause target to loose it's powers, to be weakened and to have his/her thoughts scanned. So this i s how I try to do it. But I dont know if the building is good with the rules as it's a bit complex. My favorites was Black Opal, but I submitted the idea to my fellow players, and the name they choosed, mostly because it's a "wink" to the mind and it sticks with the Titania's picture is Hardcore. First time I ever had so much difficulties to choose a name for a character ! so beware of the hardcore Lady, she might spank your asses with an HEAVY hand Light Opale

So yes it might be generous, but turn to Steve long for more explanation I tend to think it's a bit too generous too, BUT, in the other hand the character has no way to hurt anyone directly, and won't probably do it, so it "balances" it abit.. imho Generous Opale

    Re: A Riddle: If by no attack you mean no power that inflict damages you can always use other abilities to neutralize your opponents. Much of them are mental powers or aid powers. For instance, I'm actually working on such a character : Queen of Heart Empathic Opale.
