  1. Are you kidding? I haven't even gotten Ninja Hero yet. Got to love the local game store. Actual questions I asked, spread over time: "Have you gotten Star Hero? It was released this week." "Have you gotten Star Hero? It was released two weeks ago." "Have you gotten Star Hero? It was released three weeks ago." "Have you gotten Star Hero? It was released a month ago." "Have you gotten Star Hero? It was released last month." At least I eventually got it.
  2. Were there ever any spoilers on what the preacher's big secret was? It's great that we're finally getting more shows that use foreshadowing, overlying story arcs, etc. but it makes premature cancellation stink that much worse. You never get the resolution of the dangling plotlines.
  3. The variant reduces the defense by 5 AP if the attack could do BODY if the damage roll was good enough, whether it actually does BODY or not. 6d6 Energy Blast vs. 15 ED Maximum 12 BODY, no Ablation 12d6 Energy Blast vs. 15 ED Maximum 24 BODY, Defenses Ablate whatever the actual BODY damage is.
  4. To be fair, the items glowed because they contained radium paint, like old glow-in-the-dark watch faces. Workers painting the watches kept developing cancer because nobody told them not to wet the brushes in their mouths while working...
  5. Re: Starship Design Question/Taking Damage There's a variant -1 Ablative on page 78 of H5, referenced on p. 198 of star Hero. If an attack could do BODY if it rolled well enough, the defense is reduced by 5 AP, whether the attack actually does damage or not. e.g. 10d6 EB vs. 15 ED Force Field reduces the Force Field by 5 AP per hit.
  6. In the episode with the Yangs and Cons (I think, can't remember the title) Spock was able to telepathically influence a woman's behavior at a distance, although it took intense concentration. I may have the wrong episode, but I definitely remember him controlling a primative woman from across a room.
  7. And because bombing them back two weeks wouldn't have been terribly impressive.
  8. On the other hand... Free-lance=Plausable deniability
  9. Close. It was a "Private Snafu" Cartoon, Directed by Chuck Jones and written by Theodore Geisel (Dr. Seuss) as a training film for GI's. One of the secrets that he revealed was the testing of a new bomb powerful enough that one was able to obliterate an entire island. All of the films had to be approved by the Pentagon prior to release and since this one hit so close to the Manhattan Project it was scrapped and never released. Cartoon Network showed it on an episode of Toonheads featuring wartime cartoons.
  10. If Clairsentience is bought Only Through the Senses of Others, is it assumed to have Mobile Perception Point for free? Or do you have to buy the Adder with a speed matching whoever you want to link to?
