  1. Heres Part 1 of Session two Rob-Y’s visual receptors assessed the figures standing a scant 3 meters away. Four of them resembled large hairless dogs that were of a mottled browns, and their eyes were red with visible claws. The Fifth and obvious leader was a large humanoid that was 8.2 ft tall it was also hairless, and looked like it had been tortured or had a skin disease judging by the numerous suppurating wounds dotting its chest and arms. The humanoid also reeked with the smell of sulfur and was armed with a large sword of unknown forging with a black blade that shimmered in the night air. “The Master has been most anxious to meet you Lena you should be honored.” The humanoid taunted. “Vr’oock I will never serve your foul master.” The woman with wings replied. “We shall see.” Vr’oock replied and before anyone else could act it yelled “Eat their flesh.” And With a fast movement closed the distant to the mutant and with a mighty swing rocked her back onto her heels. The baying hound then attacked two closing on Rob-Y, the third Pounced on Molly harmlessly sailing through her and the fourth attacked one of the downed gang members viscously ripping into his flesh. In an attempt to defend the humans Rob-Y turned and blasted the Dog that was “eating “the unconscious human. Molly reached down touching the confused hound attacking her and quickly took control of it. Feeling its hunger she looked around and attacked the hound that Rob-Y had blasted ripping a gouge in its side. Lena was still shaking the effect of the teeth jarring assault on her, when Vr’oock through back his head and screamed like it was the end of everything deafening everyone in the area. While that was going on one of the hound ran it claws along Rob-Y’s metal skin not finding purchase and the other smelling the blood in the air jumped several meters onto the unconscious Lulu ripping into her supine form. Rob-Y’s defensive laser then once again lanced out killing one of the hounds. At this point Vr’oock realized that these other could pose some threat so with gestures and a chant in some foul language a darkness so vast that not even light could penetrate it covered the battlefield. Molly thought was still able to see the angry red glow of Vr’oocks soul and had her hound charge the demon, the attack bouncing off his tough hide. The darkness had been so unexpected That Rob-Y’s targeting was thrown off and his attack harmlessly hit the side of a dumpster not helping anyone. Molly could only watch with growing concern as Vr’oock with another swing of his dread weapon slashed Lena leaving her in a heap of blood and feathers on the pavement. Taking a chance Molly left the hound she was controlling and attempted to take control of Vr’oock and she managed to get in. Had Molly still been alive she would have been made sick by the wanton depravity that she found in Vr’oock’s mind and she also realized what she truly faced, one of Lucifer’s fiercest hunters. But the strength of the demons mind was vast but before she was thrown out she did manage to cancel the darkness and even up the odds somewhat. More to Follow
  2. After three years away from the table a couple weeks ago I started up a new campaign this will be an AAR for that campaign. our Heroes Molly - a ghost of a former flapper murdered in 1923 who is a spirit of Vengence Lena - a fallen Angel who was cast out from heaven for breaking the rules one time too many Rob-Y -a Prototype Military robot who just walked off base one day and is making his way the best he can in a very strange world Dragon King - a Hong kiong police man, and martial artist who working a case here in the states. Warpath - A Native American EX-marine bounty hunter and vigilante who hunting thoose who killed his famiy. and Without fur aadue part one of Issue one ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a cool night in Millennium City and Rob-Y was doing what he did most night he was encamped under an underpass in one of the few sections of Old Detroit the was retained when Millennium City was built. Rob-Y was a Robot who just walked off an Army base one day had made friends among the downtrodden homeless that littered the street of every major city. As he stared into the fire gauging its warmth with his receptors he heard the beat of fast foots steps approaching him. Rob-Y turned his head and saw that it was Tom, his haggard face alive with fear. Stopping if Front of Rob-Y the older man gasped for breath before belting out “Robby you need to come quick, they’re going to hurt Lulu” Tom wailed. From his files Rob-Y knew that Lulu was what the authorities referred to as Tom’s wife. Standing, Rob-Y did a quick diagnostic and determined that he was functioning at optimal efficiency, and stated “Take me to Lulu Tom.” Tom nodded and turned heading fast as his old tired legs could carry him with Rob-Y following, his 800lbs bulk making a loud clang with every step he took on the concrete. Lena was sitting in the darkened park looking up at the sky and for what seemed the millionth time how she came to be here. Just a short Six months ago she was standing her post in front of the Gold and Pearl Gates the marked the entrance into heaven. She was at the side of her Superior Gabriel as they went about the task of determining where the souls of the dead would end up. How could something as small as letting Henri into heaven get her cast out as a fallen angel. Lena pondered, when her train of thought was interrupted by a loud a series of loud “Clangs”, looking over the ex-angel saw an older man who was running and chasing him was a big can on legs with several tubes’s projecting from it. Lena growled, while she may no longer be part of the heavenly host she was not going to let this man be harmed by this thing. Jumping up the Angel spread her wings taking flight as she silently followed the endangered mortal. It was a slow night at Joe’s a bar in this tiny section of Millennium City it had gone by many names going back to when I build just a couple of years before prohibition. Joe who the bar was named for was tending bar when a first timer leaned over and said, “Her barkeep is it true that this place is haunted.” Joe snorted “Yes it is.” Before silently adding and pray you never find out just how much. Just the bartender felt a familiar coldness and the patron’s bottle of beer all of a sudden moved 6 inches away from his hand when he reached it. “What the….” The man exclaimed before giggling and asked “nice trick dude, now how did you do it.” Unseen just in front of the man Molly shook her head. Funny, how in a world full of Heroes and Villains, some people still refused to believe in ghosts. But then that’s how it always is Molly guessed as she studied her home ever since that terrible night in 1923. The ex-flapper was just about to sit down and check out the program on the Hi-Def TV Joe had bought her when she thought was sobbing coming from down the hall heading to the alley behind the bar. As she headed out back unseen to the bar patrons she walked through the door and found trouble. Crouched next to the dumpster was an older woman who was sobbing uncontrollably moaning “please leave me alone”. Spread out in front of her was a group of Six Hispanic teens. The all were wearing bandanna and were sporting wife-beaters. She saw a pipe a couple of knives and one had a hand gun in the waist band of his pants “Hey Digger, this puta wants us to leave her alone.” One of the teens taunted. The young man with the pipe gloated drinking in the woman’s fear a said “Well if she wants that she had better suck us all off and she better be good.” Disgusted, Molly became visible and ordered “Drop your weapons.” Turning the young men were startled and one crossed himself and the two farthest away said “f**k this.” and turned tail running. Digger looked at Molly and threatened “ill hurt this bitch if you try anything.” Before Digger could react, Molly stepped up to him and touched him, feeling the familiar sensation as she poured into his horrid mind taking control. “What the F**k!” Digger’s friend exclaimed as his eyes began to glow and digger could only watch in horror as his he viscously swung the pipe felling his “hommie.” Just about them a loud clang , clang, clang was heard at the entrance to the, and digger with Molly in charge turned to see what was there when all the saw was a bright light which was enough to fell the teen ejected the ghost from the mind of the gangbanger. Threat Eliminated flashed on Rob-Y heads up display and he began to move forward to retrieve Lulu when Rob-Y was struck hard and the robot gyros was barely able to compensate keeping him on his feet. “Leave the Mortal Alone,” came in over Rob-Ys receptors. With his defensive subroutines engaged Rob-Y turned taking in the sight of a Woman who was on first observation a Mutant of some type judging by her visible wings. Leave the mortal alone indicated to Rob-Y that combat might not be called for in this case and replied “I’m here to help my Friend!” Rob-Y watched as the Woman angry visage softened somewhat and began to move to Lulu. All of a sudden there was a bright light followed by a shockwave and a peel of thunder. As the Robot turned to assess this new threat he heard a sibilant voice crow in exultation “At last I have found you.”
  3. Re: Has anyone ever played a setting where the mutant's actually ARE evil? But everyone is a mutant and the computer is your friend
  4. Re: Who's still playing and when? Im play late at night normally between 1 and 5 ish pst
  5. Re: Equipment costing and exceptions to cost scheme I look at this way Mutt and Jeff walk into a store and both see sword they both want and it costs 200 dollars. Mutt is stronger than Jeff and would wield it more but only have 150 dollars while and Jeff has the 200 dollars but only wants to pay 150 because hes weaker than his friend. The merchant would laugh at him.
  6. Re: Whistle Code How about the imperial march for when the cops are comming
  7. Re: A couple quick questions Well mist of your guards would be actually Militia who would be farmers most of the time. But for full time guards id see no more than 5 or 6 per 100 adults.
  8. Re: Has anyone ever played a setting where the mutant's actually ARE evil? sounds like you going for something along the lines of the first episode of the old star trek. Cool idea
  9. Re: One can but hope… May the swartz be with you.
  10. Re: Steampunk-like world setting needs hero/power ideas For a hero I could see you using Adam west of wild wild west lineage
  11. Re: Q: Blasters and Star Wars-type equipment? You could also use the old star wars west end books. Also if you don't want to constantly trip over whats already been printed you can choose another part of the time line
  12. Re: Amalgamated Champions Spider-Bo: A cross between Spider Man and Lobo. Think about the sheer wanton distruction. get bitten by a radioactive spider and in payment you slaughter the whole city.
