  5. think I might have posted this once before, but my brains are like guacamole some days so heres a basic list for modern vehicles, I most often use the following sites, along with wikipedia http://www.army-technology.com/projects/ http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/ http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/ http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/ along with a couple of assorted hardbacks on my shelf for older sensor and older weapons data, I use the 90-91 Harpoon Data Annex and a couple of later updates to Harpoon, with the later edition stuff being pdf online, I figure I am safe copyrightwise, since most of the data is available somewhere For WW2 stuff I use Janes Aircraft and Fighting Ships reprints and wikipedia along with a couple of armor reference books from a friends library I am always happy to have other suggestions for books and URLS
  6. Re: Shadowcats Vehicular Insanity Shop: a bunch of more PC usable stuff to post sometimes I tend to go overboard on my designs, with lots of trivial detail, is this a good thing or a bad thing? I always figure folks can use what they want and throw out the rest...
  7. Re: Science Fiction League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for Honerverse, I'd want Horace Harkness on my team, or working security on B5

  10. Re: Off-world crops? I will have to go digging, at one point several years back, I worked for the Illinois Farm Bureau, and posed this question to the guy who ran the "Ag in the Classroom" project, one answer that came up was hemp, for its mulitple uses, durability, and it could grow in a lot of different climates, uses for rope, fabric, medicinal uses etc... for that matter, where will technology go as far as Genetically Modified Organism[GMO] crops in the future?
  11. Re: A Modern League of Extroardinary Gentlemen another idea came to mind. what about Buckaroo Banzai as the scientist/team leader?
  12. Re: Shadowcats Vehicular Insanity Shop: a bunch of more PC usable stuff to post I posted 2 new vehicles to get things started, and sent susano a bunch of stuff in a zip file for posting, its a mixed bag of new and old stuff, more helicopters, and and a couple of new warships
