  1. Perhaps, they plan on holding a raffle, to pick their new one out of the student crowd.
  2. I have to say of late that is a conservative problem more than a liberal problem. In theory, Libertarians are gonna rob the GOP of 5-10%**, does the Green come near that (I don't know about Stein this past year, but the Greens hadn't previously been even a blip since about Nader next to last run.) Note: getting a little too close to needing to be taken up in the political thread, so I'll avoid taking this further. **if I am a putting together the GOP/Libertarian vote together, may or may not apply to votes as a whole
  3. While true, we have nutty little cliques like that on both sides.
  4. see what you did, BB had blissfully talked hmself into believing they were still in SD. Now his illusion is gone.
  5. Yeah, my mother liked Graham and a Dr. Charles Stanley who would preach on Sunday mornings (she'd watch if we didnt happen to go to church), but she never has wanted anything to do with the rest.
  6. Dont tempt fate, now Mr Stay-Puft will be found walking through downtown Cleveland on Sunday.
  7. Well, the violence is needed, otherwise it probably has more actionless time in a game than a baseball game. Needs something to sell it. Auto racing is boring without accidents. And then you feel guilty for hoping for said accidents when they happen.
  8. Oh, no. Now you cursed the Browns.
  9. Well, I put him on a "higher rung" solely because he does a small audience. (which peaked in the 80s, and probably has to be nearly gone by now) Note: In any case, when he ran for President in 1988, he struck me (a 12 year old) as one of those guys who are probably sleazy in actuality that hides behind Christianity for his own benefit, think Bakker/Swaggart (course I can think of some like them in church congregations I have or still do attend)
  10. Why do you say this to me, when you know I will kill you for it?
  11. The Kingpin, I guess, I like the former a little more though (though not really a fan of either) Perry Mason vs (insert any DA from the multiple Law&Order series)
  12. I love sour cream and onion, but never eat it, because I don't love it enough to taste it 3 hours later.
  13. *smacks Marcus* Baseball is my sport. (though since we are supposed to like too many strikeouts and pitching changes, it isnt going in the right direction) Edit: Though ironically, the 2 complaints about baseball are time, and low scoring, yet the 2 football sports, soccer has less scoring, and American football games last even longer. Yet, no complaints.
  14. Atheist, if you gonna commit, commit.
  15. Ewoks! Ewoks! Ewoks!!!!!! Note: Did someone forget to tell tech priest when he joined that I don't like Ewoks? I thought we agreed for that to be included in the recruitment papers.
  16. THat's right, the Saints played what constituted as a Dolphins offense this past week.
  17. Nah, I know serious injuries can happen (in pretty much any team sport). It just also happens to be the most boring team sport I can think of.
  18. YEah, I've avoided it for about 3 months at this point for the most part, barring a story here and there
  19. Wait, Patriots defense, you mean they are a worse defense than the Saints?
  20. At this point does anyone turn on cable news on purpose. At least assuming you want to get actual news.
  21. Ehh, I call that Thursday. You don't want to know.
  22. Forbidden PLanet, no offense to 2001, but I saw the former many more times, and much younger for the first time. What will make more sense? Lost (TV show) vs the hallucinations from taking a gallon of acid
  23. I would have said that, but I had already filled my cheap shot quota.
