Re: The Last Word Yeah. I've never had it happening to me, though it's mostly a matter of time . . . It's when you attempt a so-called do cut -- the opponent is in a high stance, exposing his sides, that you go for the abdomen/stomach. The sword should pass just outside his arms, hitting just where the ribs end. Then you follow through, rushing by on the opponent's other side, "dragging" the sword with you. Thinking about this happening with a live sword makes my eyes water.
