We publically promised the Vag-Oros and Hantak people to save them from their Opressive Regimes and we intend to keep that Promise. But we can not fullfill it right now. We need to get stronger first. Luckily there are planet of planets to colonise for us humans. We will also look into Genetic Engineering, in hopes of adapting our Colonists better to the extreme climates on some of the planets.

So, Stellaris patch 1.6 came out. Then 1.6.1 that fixed the AI not decalring war. Now I got mods that also deal with Terraforming AI bug (it terraformed colonies like mad and senselessly, resulting in tons of lost resources). Another thing is that the Stock Human Race Traits were changed. Together with the Traditions, there is now a totally new Playstyle/Colonystyle for them. Spaceplanes are comming: In particular the XS-1, aka Phantom Express , from Boeing. http://www.livescience.com/59245-darpa-xs-1-spaceplane-boeing-phantom-express.html It is inteded to be able to launch with a sattelite payload (3000 lbs/1360 kg) 10 times in 10 consequitive days, at a cost of only 5 Million $ per launch. Wich would considerably cut the costs to get Sattelites into Orbit.

A classic is the "Cane Sword". A sword hidden in a cane. And it is not just for old people: Cane Sword: Killing Attack +2D6 (HTH Range), 0 Endurance, Inobvious Accessible Focus (IAF). Season depending on how you view swords should operate Mechanically (Fantasy or Heroic Setting) Hiding a weapon becomes a lot easier if the blade is energy. I like to just view Cyberspace like I would Astral Space for mages: A seperate reality, paralell to the real world, one can "Project" into while leaving the meatbody behind. Think about it this way: Despite the Prision having convicted Murderers, they are left largely unattended overnight. So they were not that likely to make a run for it or causes issues to begin with. While such a close alliance with a religious group might be problematic longterm, the strategic use of having at least one ally is not to be understimated. 2258.01.13: The Yalon Regime sugested a Non-Agression pact. But we are no fools. We know exactly that they only want to protect their Flank as they conquer the Galaxy themself. 2258.01.16: The Yalon jsut signed a Defense pact with the Kenjodan. They will be distributed across teh commonwealth, once their numbers have grown sufficciently - exactly one per planet is enough, but they can still work Farms decently. 2240.03.01: The Fleet buildup has been re-initiated. We are now poised to strike at the Uri and war of Conquest has been delcared. Goal: Total takeover of all Uri Planets. As our Vassals, the Caloctoran will be expected to fully Participate in the warfare. We will see if their Admirals will fullfill their duties. They have been granted full Residency rights and decent Living Standarts pre-emptively. While normally we would just enslave them, their use as Power Plant workers is far too important to waste them like that. 2242.02.02: Another Empire from the North/East or Gamma Quadrant: The Mandasura Heirarchy. 2242.04.20: Beleiving thier Fleet to be able to defeat our Fleet, the Uri are following our Fleet. Their hope might be to catch us before the Caloctoran join forces with us. However, that will not happen. We have superior Fleet. 2242.07.27: As predicted, the battle ended with our victory. Our ship design, pilots and the Admirals tactic prooved superior and the enemy Fleet was annihilated. Aside from all our outmodded Corvettes, teh only casualty was one single Destroyer out of 18. Now the Conquest of thier worlds can begin without any interference from their Fleet. 2243.07.08: The first two planets have been secured. The fleet has been ordered to return to friendyl space for a refit with weapons better suited to engagign space ports. 2243.08.07: A new Faction has formed. The "National Solvency Coalition" under Governor Uwe Neumann. They are overfocussed on simple wealth. They are not happy with our current war, nor Credit reserves nor with our control over Strategic resources. 2244.08.10: A hastily cosntructed Uri resurgence Fleet has been annihilated as well. Our next target will be the spaceport on ther Capitol planet. The Caloctoran have been ordered to join our fleet in this endeavor. 2245.02.26: Worrying results on the south front: It may be that the Raxycodium/Kenjor relations are improoving. 2245.07.10: The Orbital and Suborbital defenses of teh Uri homeworld have been stripped. Our Caloctoran Vassals performed their duties acceptably. The ground Invasion has begun. 2245.08.26: The Uri homeworld ground resistance was a lot higher then Anticipated. The new Ur Idra Sector has been formed as well, encompassing all former Uri Planets. Gerardo Ortega has been named the Governor of this new Sector and the otehr Governors have been re-assigned accordingly. There are also troubling news that a Faction has already formed in the former Uri worlds: The "Individual Choice Watch" under Scientist Ljuba Kuzin is full of Egalitarian Ideals. The north/west or Delta Quadrant is a bit crowded: 1 Fallen Empire, 5 minor Species, 2 Eternal Rivals Our two eternal Rivals keep growing. Unfortunately they are a bit too far away to count as "Neighbors" for the various positive effects. Might have to put a border post closer to them: There is a very intersting expansion Opportunity, right next to the Materialist FE. It should make a excellent new Capitol. Until we get those Ringworld Segments The minor empires are minor. Only 2 remain free and I want the one kind in particluar for alien Slaves.
