That was actually a major background element for Lightning, one of the classic Tower Comics heroes, the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents. Lighting used a suit with a built-in device granting him super speed, knowing that using it accelerated his aging. Late in his career the cumulative effect was dramatically obvious.

From the movie Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses (1963), the fight scene between Hercules (Kirk Morris) and Samson (Iloosh Koshabe). For the era and the budget, surprisingly well done.

BTW the "Tom" he refers to at the end of the film was the studio exec this was pitched to at the time.
