  1. So 3 to go Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Massachusetts Bay andRhode Island and Providence Plantations
  2. The mysterious Ong Ong walked out of the jersey pine Barrens one day dressed outlandishly wearing a gaudy silk hat. He was strange man unaccustomed to modern America people usually thought of him as foreigner but he spoke English like a New Jersey native. He has the manners and deportment of an aristocrat. Polite to a fault and slow to anger. He is only brought to violence by attacks on the weak and innocent. Ong has spent several years wandering the garden state. he always seems to find trouble a terrible ladies man he and can not resist a damsel in distress which has often caused him to run a fowl of the authorities as well as the criminal element. Ong is a skilled dancer and fights with the same fluid grace he is an expert fencer and knows several unusual martial arts. Ong is extremely knowledgeable on the occult extradimensional entities and pre colonial America but has only the barest grasp on science and modern history but is eager to learn and is often found in Princeton bars discussing metaphysics with undergrads (usually impressionable coeds) Ong’s biggest secret is contained his flamboyant silk hat he is never seen without it and is able to pull a seemingly endless supply of whatever he needs from within from fencing blades to ropes and gold coins to whole roast chickens. There have been several reports of people finding Ong’s hat hanging from a tree and picking it up only to find Ong sitting wearing it the moment they turn their backs.
  3. I guess that's 6 So next team the Aboriginal Avengers while many may consider them heroes or freedom fighters the aboriginal avengers are considered terrorists and supercriminals by the UN this group of seven draws it's members from oppressed native peoples who attack governments and businesses that don't respect native rights.
  4. Demolition Dan Daniel Franklin Spencer spent a lot of time in hospital not because he was sick just because he constantly had accidents if he could trip over fall into or break off part of something he would. Social workers investigated for domestic abuse and doctors diagnosed everything from inner ear problems to learning disorders and just a lack of commonsense but nothing could change the fact that Dan was forever hurting himself and destroying property. When he was 18 he had his worst accident he slipped leaning over an overpass whilst watching a parade he fell through one float was then run over by the next float before tripped over half of a marching band. The doctors said he would be paralyzed from the waist down and in constant excruciating pain. His parents signed him up for an experimental treatment that was supposed to increase natural cellular regeneration. Unfortunately for Dan the scientists developing the treatment and the world, Dan's clumsiness struck at the worst possible time as he was about to be loaded into the test chamber he had a muscle spasm the orderly dropped him resulting in him thrashing under the machine for several seconds. Somehow in his wild thrashing Dan had pulled out certain safety devices and increased the flow rate of the chamber well beyond its design limits. No one checked before lowering him into the chamber if they had maybe the chamber wouldn't have exploded maybe the resulting fire wouldn't have destroyed much of the research lab and the current phase notes. What is certain is Dan would not have smashed his way out of the chamber with superhuman strength and invulnerability. Dan is still as clumsy as ever he has been forced into a life of crime to pay for the specially reinforced everything he needs to live no normal furniture will support him no dinner plates will stand up to his powerful fingers and forget about public transport. The budget baddies use Dan as a distraction letting him blunder around in public to draw away police and superheroes or occasionally for smash and grab stuff although he can be as much a liability as an asset. Dan is unusual in the supervillain world in that he loves going to jail as all the special equipment he needs is provided by the state.
  5. Lol. honestly the dreams are their personal dreams so the architect gets the ability to create amazing materials from basic stuff and shapes them at will. The wannabe actress gets super like-ability The air force pilot flies without a plane. A little girl becomes an anime magic girl complete with overpowered called attacks And the criminal big man who wants to be the biggest gets growth.
  6. Death master. The world greatest assassin master of every weapon ever created trainer of killers and spies. Death Master is a living legend in the Super villain world. Or at least he was back in the twentieth century. He retired in the eighties to settle down with his wife in Cornwall as regular old Reg Dwight he had a nice quiet 30 years despite the semi annual assassination attempts. All was well until last year when his wife died suddenly of a stroke his way of dealing with his grief was to torch his house dig up his weapon caches and restart his supervillain career. Unfortunately for Reg he hasn't really kept up his training and didn't realize till his return how bad it was too many cigs in the 60s means he gets winded fast early stage Parkinsons has ruined his perfect aim. lumbago and arthritis make his martial arts moves a bit less deadly than they used to be. The final nail is his failing memory. Other supervillains former colleagues apprentices have felt sorry for him and have made the budget baddies take care of him. he's still a lot more dangerous than he looks and when he can be kept on task a tactical and strategic genius. He still wears his original death master costume black body suit utility belt sword and twin pistols with a gun metal skull face mask. Unfortunately it was designed for a man with a much better physique and kind of hangs off him now. Silver Tufts of his once lustrous raven wing dark hair stick out through his mask straps.
  7. Just finished reading turbulence by Samit Basu http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9544621-turbulence It's a fun take on the Superhero origin genre everyone in the story is a passenger on a British airways flight from London to Delhi and falls asleep has strange dreams and wakes up with powers that are their literal hearts desire. Considering the real mix of people on a international flight you would get a very interesting mix of powers and personalities.
  8. Might be less deadly/more subtle if you have it take body from all targets within AOE.
  9. Yeah I think that would work but if you do want to make him more attractive for a team healing others is definitely a must have for most teams. Which would lead to the tragic moment where everyone on the team is beaten to he'll and begging pariah to save some one and he knows if he does they could all die. Also if he walks away into the sunset after being shunned by the team you can always bring him back either with much greater control of his powers or a partner with an overactive healing factor think Deadpool.
  10. Is this a healing power self only or can he heal others? One option would be to make his power more general life energy draining birds fall from the skies grass turns brown. That would be a way to signal his power. The excellent powereds novel series by drew Hayes. Featured a healer with a similar power she could absorb other people's pain and injury then give them to others or heal them herself with her own fast healing power. http://www.drewhayesnovels.com/superpowereds
  11. Well everyone knows Rhode Island chickens are nothing to mess with. You should add hunted by Peter griffin https://youtu.be/W4WGQmWcrbs
  12. Been trying really hard not to resurrect one of my old 50 states heroes. Representing the great state of New York Double Aught Buckley Oliver O'bannon Buckley was born in 1903 in a remote community in upstate New York his father was an experienced outdoorsman and hunting guide and Oliver learnt everything his old man could teach. in 1917 he ran away from home, lied about his age to join the army and served with distinction in the American Expeditionary force as a scout and sniper He returned home decorated for his Valor only to find his parents had died of Spanish flu. Orphaned and with no other skills he returned to the woods and started a new life as a fur trapper and hunter. 1922 a newly wed Buckley was out on a hunting trip. While he was away his wife and infant son were killed in the crossfire when an bootleggers took cover from a police road block. He returned to find everyone dead crooks and police alike and a trail of blood leading into the woods. Buckley found a gangster bleeding out just a few hundred yards from his cabin. Buckley saw red and with his trusty shotgun he cut a bloody swath down through the state killing bootleggers and gangsters till he hit Manhattan and decimated several gangs before killing the kingpin of the gang that killed his family. Then he surrendered to police. Despite Numerous attempts on his life in jail, he was still standing 3 years into his multiple life sentences the governor offered him a pardon if he would be willing to go into the wilds and track down a dangerous fugitive who had killed dozens of police and US Marshall's during his multi state rampage. Everyone thought he would die but double Aught Buckley was built of sterner stuff he walked into the forest with a canteen Bowie knife hatchet and his trusty Remington 12 gauge. 6 days later he walked out with a beaten bloody but living fugitive. Buckley got his pardon over the next two decades he became a legend part bounty Hunter part vigilante. He changed his modus operandi changing from a cold blooded killer to a canny hunter he added rubber bullets rock salt and teargas shells to his shot guns. Buckley is an expert marksman knife fighter and tracker. His standard load out is a sawn off side by side pistol grip shotgun he uses as a side arm a Bowie knife and a folding repeating shotgun all concealed under a heavy leather duster.
  13. Pittsburgh Steel. Piotr Eisenberg was born in Poland in the Warsaw ghetto. his family fled a few years before the nazi invasion seeing the way the wind was blowing. Piotr worked hard as a steel worker. When American bundists started attacking the Jewish and other immigrant communities piotr decided to do something about it. Constructing a suit of metal Armour with a hydraulic hammer fist. He smashed first fascist attacks and then organized crime before joining the first 13.
  14. Cysphrett you beat me again I was going to go with a flight pack wearing woman for NC called kitty Hawk. After all First in Flight.
  15. I'd say single punch bug is part of trashmans power set.
  16. Backup Bucky Skye is a teleporter with a highly tuned danger sense unfortunately he can only teleport backwards about 6 feet. He isn't much of a fighter but his ability to bounce around dodging all danger makes him a good distraction. he's Lousy in a fight but makes a good distraction for other villains the only way to catch him is to force him backwards into danger. His costume is a brown leather jacket and pants with a yellow chest and inch wide yellow stripes down sleeves and pant legs.
  17. OK new team inspired by the Golden age thread a captain America special and the recent avengers state special state covers event. Continental Centurion and the First Thirteen. Active since the revolutionary war the continental centurion has been the top field operative of the culper ring. It wasn't until the second world War and the rise of the costumed mystery man that the centurion was made public knowledge. Dressed in a modern update of Roman Centurion's Armour with a old glory Cape and red, white and blue plumes helm. Before America joined the war the centurion recruited mystery men from across the East coast to fight saboteurs, spies and fifth columnists. So 6 to 13 members(seeing how we go) each from one of the original 13 states.
  18. Telluride James Algernon Teller was born in a small cabin during a massive snow storm in 1884. His father was a legendary Texas Ranger wounded in action he'd retired to a small town in Colorado and got married. James was a precious child and extremely intelligent. In 1889 while shopping with his mother he was there when Butch Cassidy robbed San Miguel Valley Bank it was his first major crime. James was extremely intelligent and had exceeded what the local schoolhouse could teach by 11 he studied at the town library during the day and became fascinated in electric power due to the Westinghouse hydroelectric plant. He started hanging around the work site acting as a runner gopher and mascot for the site crew. By 15 the plant was up and running and james was working as a part time engineer. Someone saw his potential and with the help of Lucien L. Nunn the plant owner he was sent out west on a scholarship first to a top prep school and then to cornell University. At 19 he already had his bachelor degree. He returned to Colorado to work with Nikola Tesla at his new lab in Colorado Springs. He worked with Tesla for two years until he hot terrible news has father had been gunned down while attempting to stop a bar fight. James rushed back to Telluride his father was gut shot it took him days to die and James stayed with him throughout his final hours. James wanted revenge constructing an lightning projecting rifle and electromagnetic defense shield he hunted down the man who killed his father and brought him to justice. He discovered he loved the work. James became a bounty Hunter and gun for hire using the funds to pay for his own research. Working from a secret lab in an abandoned silver mine nicknamed The Telluride sentinel and the electric kid. He fought weird science and supernatural threats across the West for several years. During an experiment with matter transmission in 1906 his lab was hit by an aftershock from the great earthquake that struck San Francisco. James was trapped in the transmission buffer of his experimental transporter for 110 years. Only when a spelunking grad student discovered the caved in lab. And triggered his resurrection. Now Telluride is a man out of time an old West gunslinger trying to catch up with a Century of scientific advancement. He has upgraded his lightning gun and force shield and is a full time super hero. Surprisingly he is very wealthy having inherited his own fortune (passed to his cousins after his disappearance) after the death of his last living relative.
  19. Old man it's an old burning man thing I'm wondering if they do it at wasteland weekend yet or could be organized.
  20. Lol I see what you did there bolo https://goo.gl/images/L39FIs
  21. Budget baddies The supervillain community has it's super stars and then there's the other end the six members of the budget baddies are broke. They are at the margins of the community cheap low rent villains with gear made out of junk low level powers and crippling weaknesses. The Z list
  22. Elasmo Elias Sauer is a newbie to the Super villain scene only just having received his powers he says from a radioactive Fossil tooth. he is able to turn into a reptile man stronger faster and more durable than a normal man. He is also able to breathe under water his main power is his ability to elongate his neck almost 30 feet either whipping it around to smash enemies or deliver a ferocious bite. Except this is all a lie Elle Sawyer is an undercover UNTIL agent with remarkable shape shifting powers she can change her appearance is almost invulnerable and doesn't need to breath eat or sleep. She's joined the team to build her villain rep in the hopes of getting into a bigger organization she's hoping that coelacanth can get her an intro to VIPER. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elasmosaurus
  23. death tribble I assume devil dolphin is bright red in color. I'm waiting for it to aquire a small Aquatic ape rider lol.
  24. You also missed public speaking gigs special effects and stunt work. Beast boy played all of the animals in a doctor Doolittle movie because it was cheaper to color correct him than hire all those animals then make them talk with sfx. There have been a number of super heroic stunt men being nigh invulnerable would certainly up the thrill level of stunts. Other fun raising kind of depends on the members power sets. A speedster could make a fortune doing rush production be that assembling props or placing thousands of mannequins for crowd scenes. A telekinetic could replace wire work in Kung fu movies or just work as a safety officer. Orbital flight even without superstrength would let you launch cube sets for a fraction of the cost if a rocket launch. And I've always said magneto was an idiot he chose terrorism when his power was much more useful for making him the richest man on earth. Mutant acceptance is probably a lot easier to get when you can buy whole countries.
  25. There is the "sport" called car hunting where people go out to the desert and try to kill cars (rigged for remote control) with a lot of guns. So legit sporting use lol https://youtu.be/vURGKQinE0Q
