  1. Re: [Race for review] War Trolls Ok newley modifies version up.
  2. Using the wonderful non human ncm creator on KS website. I have created a template for one of my custom fantasy races. I used the KS's creator saved it and then added the races natural abilities to the template. Here is a copy of the base template without starting points or disads points. Let me know what you think. They were created during the Troll Wars to help battle normal trolls. However unlike normal trolls war trolls can walk freely in the daylight. Description: War Trolls both male and female stand between 81/2 to 9 feet tall and weigh roughlt 450 lbs. Their skin is generally red but there have been some who have bown or grey skin. Their hair is white, black or grey and their eyes are yellow. They reach matuity at 25 and can live up to 400 years. Personality: While they can be a little crude and gruff at times. The war trolls most redeeming quality is their loyalty, once a War Troll pledges friendship or fealty to a person or quest they are loyal unto death. Relations: War Trolls get along well with most of the common races. They are often hired as guards or bouncers in human cities and dwarves will often hire them to work in their forges due to their great strength and endurance.
  3. Re: A little build help. K thanks KS I will go the extra body route.
  4. Thanks to Killer Shrike's help I am starting to convert my fantasy campain to hero. He helped me convert one of the races I use and I am now trying to convert another on my own. Now to my problem..I understand that Transform would be used to simulate a flesh to stone spell, the stare of a medusa, gorgon's breath. How would you build an imunity to this. Ie the race is vulnerable to other transforms such as being polymorphed but cannot be petrified. Should I buy a Life Support immunity and type in petrification inf place of the choices listed?
  5. Re: [Conversion] Lupin (from Red Steel) Much Thanks KS...when I am ready will you help me create racial packages for my custom races? Gotta find where I put the sheets I wrote up for them.
  6. Re: Help converting races. I dont need help converting all the info for the Red Steel stuff just the lupins race which I outlined the D&D stats above.
  7. Re: Help converting races. I dont have my red steel books handy but what I can remember... AD&D stats go lupins got +2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Wis and -2 Chr. They could track by smell and had keen ears/sense of smell. Identify werewolves in any form and had infravision and lived about 250- 300 years. As far as negatives they were alerigic to wolfsbane and more vulnerable to hearing/smell based attacks.
  8. I am thinking of running my first fantasy hero game ever. For most of the standard fantasy (dwarves, elves etc) races I plan on using Killer Shrike's wonderful packages. But I have a couple custom races and one race from the old AD&D Red Steel campaign that I use. I was wondering if my fellow herophiles would help me convert them from AD&D terms into Hero. I will post the info on my custom races later as far as the Red Steel race has anyone ever converted the lupins featured there.
  9. Re: My Champions Universe Timeline. Hi all I know many of you enjoyed my timeline. I updated it to include 2007 events so I decide to alter the original post and perform a little thread necromancy.

  13. Re: X-Men: The Next Generation campaign on Hero Central Hey MMD just out of curiosity...Im trying to iron out disads on web boy (in case he is picked my other two submissions already have full disads) are you putting a point limit on a specific category of disads? Or is the 75pt active cap apply to the disads as well.
  14. Re: The Official Handbook of the Marvel Bunnyverse Hey bunneh man did ya like the danicin' bunneh?
  15. Re: X-Men: The Next Generation campaign on Hero Central Ok one mmore submission from me. This ones a little bit out there but..here he is. Web Boy Son of alternate reality Spider Woman/Petra Parker & Longshot Backgorund:In another universe one of the many clones made of Peter Parker survived. However this one was different..this one had its dna manipulated to make it female. She had a good heart and taking the name of Spider Woman began fighting crime like her 'brother'. In her nomal idnetity she took the name of Petra Parker and with the help of Peter and S.H.I.E.L.D. got her own life. In one of her many adventures as Spider Woman she met the X-Men and became friends with them. She helped them out on several occasions and eventually fell in love with the X-Man Longshot. After confronting Longshot about her feeling, he told her that he shared them. They eventually married, Longshot left the X-Men and they began fighting crime as a duo. After many years of this they retired and Petra soon discovered she was pregnant. They had a son and named him Aeryk. As the child grew his mother began to notice things, he never fell, any time he knocked something over he would miraciouslly catch it. She decided to take the child to Charles Xavier and he confirmed that the child was a mutant and had apparently developed his fathers uncanny agility. When he turned thrirteen they discovered that he had also inherited his mothers spider abilities. Aeryk also flew rapidly through school, graduating high school at 16. It was this age he started adventuring as Web Boy. During a fight with an extra dimensional villain Portal he accidentally swung through one of Portals gates and blakced out. When he awoke he found himself in New York city in the last spot he remebered but Portal was gone. He decided to head home but when he got there he discovered that something was wrong. There was a 7-11 where his house should be. He 'borrowed' some clothes from some one's clothes line and found a newspaper. He could hardley believe the headline he saw. Charles Xavier dead..no that couldnt be he and his mother had just had lunch with him the day before. He found a way to get to Xaviers mansion and met with Hank McCoy. He told him his story and McCoy figured he was from another reality and was stranded here. Knowing he was now without a home McCoy offered Aeryk a home at the mansion and a place on the newly reformed X-Men Quote:Hi I'm Web Boy, but you can call me Lucky, everyone else does. Personality:Aeryk is somewhat of a prankster but if you begin to talk anything scientific he will turn very serious. Skills/Powers:Web Boy is a mutant who has the ability to produce webbing from spinerettes from his hand. His other ability is to alter the threads of reality around him giving him incredible luck. In addition to his powers Web Boy has great intelligence and picks up new skills quickly.

  22. Re: Elemental Controls, how do they work? You can use all powers in an EC simutaneously. Heres an example Pts Power 30 Elemental Control: Fire Powers (60 point Powers) 30 Fire Bolt: 12d6 EB (60 Act Points) 30 Flame Shield: Force Field 20 PD & 20 ED at 0 End (+1/2) (60 Act Points) 30 Heat Rises: Flight 30 (60 Act Points) With this example in a phase you can act you can have your force field up, fly half your movement and still fire you fire bolt.
