  1. Re: Designing a show stopping villain This is the most fearsome opponent I (and my fellow co-gm at the time) ever unleashed on our heroes. I won't post them here, but you can find his followers, Psi-Bar, Razor, Titanus and the R.O.C.'s in my heroes & villains thread. His parents were rich beyond a normal persons dream. He had the best of it all, educators, cooks, personal valets and butlers. The only thing he lacked was his parents love, always to busy to spend any time with him, and he hated them for it. His unearthly intelligence helped him graduate highschool by the time he was 12. By 25 he had earned several degrees from college and was working at the world's leading Robotic and Cybernetic research company. His scientific peers, however ridiculed him for his age and for his much more advanced ideas. They thought him a quack, but he kept teliing himself they would pay. After two years of ridicule he finally decided to act. He broke into the lab he worked in and assembled a set of neural & physical enhancment bracers and the chips he would need implanted in his body to allow the enhancements to work. Hannover then went to the operating rooms, programmed the robotic surgeon to imlant the chips, and laid down on the table. He awoke several hours later a new man. *Hannover Fist is no more*...he thought...*Everyone who ever ridiculed me will feel death at the hands of Kill Ratio*. He knew he would need money, so he went to his parents house. They were drunk and arguing. He came leaping through the window and sammed his fist into his fathers head, felling the bone of the skull collapse. Daddy was dead before he hit the floor. His mother ran but didnt get far as his fist opened a gaping hole all the way through her torso. Hannover then went home and removed the bracers, tempararilly returning him to normal. The police investigation turned up nothing other than the fact that his parents were obviuoslly killed by a supevillain. Two weeks later Hannover had every single cent of his parents money. He then went back to the lab and had the bracers permanantly fused to his forearms. Over the next few years he sold his parents house, built himself an underground base of operations and an army of robotic minions, as well as kidnapping three special individuals and turning them into obediant cyborgs. He then commanded his horde to attack his old lab and kill everyone there. It was plain and simple a bloodbath. During the carnage several supeheroes and the media showed up, which caused Kill Ratio to get involved himself. He managed to kill two superheroes, which forced the others to retreat carrying their dead commrades as they did so. Then using his super leaping ability he jumped towards one of the tv vans. He landed on the reporter and put his fist through the camera mans chest. He picked up the camera and said into the lens "I am Kill Ratio. I am here to make the world pay for it's sins. You will either bow to me or be killed. The end is nigh...Weep" Kill Ratio then lept away, his followers on his heels. Personality/Motivation: Kill Ratio is pissed at the world. He is sadistic and will kill anyone at the drop of a hat. Quote: The End is Nigh...Weep Powers/Tactics: Kill Ratio is a brick combined with probablly the most brilliant mind on the planet. He is cold and calculating. He however enjoys just wading into his opponents and getting his hands dirty. Appearance: Kill Ratio wears an balck bodysuit covering his entire body, save for where his wild mop of hair stick out of the top. There is a blood red set of crosshairs emblazoned on the torso front of the suit.

  3. Re: [Character] Totem His background and other info. Background/History: The Apache have many legends and prophecies. Among them is that a warrior would be born among them, his eyes would be white like snow and he would help all nations and all tribes. When Joshua Greycloud was born, many of the Apache elders believed that he was the fufilment of this prophecy. . He learned to meditate and listen for the voices of his ancestors. Most of all they taught him that he was a warrior, and as a warrior, it was his obligation to protect the tribe. As he grew he learned that he was stronger than everyone else his age, and he learned to control that strength so that he did not hurt any who were weaker than him. He also discovered that it was very hard for him to get hurt and that he could run very fast. When he was 16 he ran down and wrestled a buffalo to the ground with his bare hands. Joshua also excelled academically as well, graduating high school with a perfect 4.0 gpa. Aftergraduating, the elders told him that he must leave the reservation. "Why?" he asked, "You said it was my duty to protect the tribe." The lead elder stood, "Your duty is to more than the Apache. It is to mankind. You must go into the world and use the abilities given to you to protect all of mankind." Seeing the wisdom of the elders words, Joshua left the reservation. Knowing he would need some way to support himself as he traveled, he went to University of Phoenix, and earned a degree in veterinary medicine. After gaining his degree, he traveled throughout the country, using his super strength to aid those in need. During his travels, he improved his ability to fight. Mimicing animals, such as the bear, the eagle and the ram, he came up with his own unique martial art. He called it Totem fighting. He also contacted his ancestor spirits and learned how to chanel his own spirit energy into various uses. He currently resides in Seattle where he has a small veterinary practice. Quote: "Did you just call me Tonto?" "A true warrior mourns the loss of any life, and especially an innocent life most of all." Powers/Tactics: Joshua is a mutant who posesses many different powers. He has superhuman strength, toughness, & resistance to harm. His powerful legs allow him to run at amazing speeds. He heals much faster than a normal human and is immune to any poisons derived from plants or animals. It also seems that his ability to heal has slowed his aging process. He can also hold his breath for an extended amount of time as well as resist extreme temperatures. Joshua sees as well in total darkness as well as daylight. Through meditation, his ancestor's spirits have taught him to call upon his own spiritual energies and use it in several different ways including firing spirit arrows and speaking with animals. His martial art is of his own creation, mimicing the attacks of various American animals. Campaign Use: My cross between Nightwolf (from Mortal Kombat), T.Hawk (from Street Fighter), & Warpath (From X-Force). Appearance: Joshua is a very tall muscular Apache indian. He appears to be in his early 20's but Joshua is actually 60 years old. His hair is very long, hanging down to the middle of his back. On his head he wears a headband with two eagle feathers hanging from it. His 'costume' consists of a pair of blue jeans, boot moccasins and a denim vest. He also wears Apache warpaint on his face. Height: 6'4" Weight: 225 lbs

  6. Re: [Character] The Arctic Spirit (HELP!) Well one way you can save a few points is instead of armor maybe make it a 0 end force field and put it in an ec with his flight other than that it the mp seems powerful for a pc. I created a charcter for a game that was based on 750 points but the gm put a Active Cost cap limit a 90 active points. Or is this a npc meant for noone to really even attempt to mess with?
  7. Re: [Character] Goldenrod Hmm so if I am reading this right when he is in hero ID. His ff is always going and he is always flying. So while he is being a hero, he cant land. Interesting. Okay suggestions. With 600 points you could do a hell of a lot better. 1) I would build his attcking powers in a MP. have several differnet kinds of 'glow blasts' not an all in one blast. 2)Put his movement and defenses in an EC. 3)More skills/perks. Pesonally as gm if I was to give you 600 points I would require at least 50 to 75 of them be in NON COMBAT related skills and or perks. A group of terrorist had taken hostages and the Enforcers were called in. The Enforcers stormed the building and in the ensuing chaos, James' brother jumped one of the gunman and disarmed him. When the Enforcers stormed into the area they opened fire on anyone holding a gun..including Jame's brother. Over the next several months James' thought only of revenge, but had no way to act on it. Then he discovered an ancient history book from the time before the war. He saw pictures of the great heroes of the past...and one picture inspired him. He saw the legendary Iron Man. James built his own suit of armor and began fighting the Enforcers. He was determined to make a difference, to expose the Enforcers for what they were, to restore true freedom even if he had to die trying.

Re: Disney Princesses Those were her beauty (from flora) and her singing voice (from fauna) merriwether's gift was interupted by maleficent's appearance and placing of the curse, hence merriwether's gift of the ability to break the curse by loves first kiss. (I have 4 kids and have watched these movies alot, so my knowledge is kind of really good.)

  16. Re: Disney Princesses Good point after all she was the chiefs daughter that technically makes her the princess of her people.
  17. Re: Disney Princesses Though not technically a Disney 'princess' you could do Alice with her special mushroom pieces giving her growth and shrinking abilities.
  18. Re: Jokes Ethel was a bit of a demon in her wheelchair, and loved to charge around the nursing home, taking corners on one wheel and getting up to maximum speed on the long corridors. Because the poor woman was one sandwich short of a picnic the other residents tolerated her and some of them actually joined in. One day Ethel was speeding up one corridor when a door opened and Kooky Clarence stepped out with his arm outstretched. "STOP!," he shouted in a firm voice. "Have you got a license for that thing?" Ethel fished around in her handbag and pulled out a Kit Kat wrapper and held it up to him. "OK" he said, and away Ethel sped down the hall. As she took the corner near the TV lounge on one wheel, weird Harold popped out in front of her and shouted "STOP! Have you got proof of insurance?" Ethel dug into her handbag, pulled out a drink coaster and held it up to him. Harold nodded and said "On your way, Ma'am." As Ethel neared the final corridor, Crazy Craig stepped out in front of her, Butt- Naked, and holding his "You-Know- What" in his hand. "Oh, good grief," yelled Ethel, "Not that dang Breathalyzer Test again.!!!"
