  2. Re: Disturbing Character premises... One of the characters I ever gm'd was way back in AD&D 2nd edition right after the Complete Humanoid Handbook came out. I had a bunch of 1st time players and one of them scanned through the books requested to play a minotaur. I though nothing of it and helped all the players roll up their characters. It wasn't until he named the character til I got the disturbing image. here is this 9' tall 450lb minotaur and he names him...Sexual Chocolate. Well I found it disturbing anyway.

  8. Re: How many Dragon's teeth adorn YOUR shield? Personally I have only ever had one character encounter a dragon. I was playing a Kensai in a AD&D solo campaign years ago. Here I am 1st level and on a quest to go find what is written on the wall of an ancient temple. The entrance to the temple is underneath in a series of caves. well lo and behold as I enter the largest cavern is a very large and very old gold dragon. He tells me I must answer his riddle or do the honorable thing should I fail. My dm hit me with a riddle out of The Hobbit, which I had not read at this time. Luckily I figured it out and got into the temple found the inscription. Which read simply 'Know Thyself'. This is perhaps one of my greatest role-playing memories

  12. Ok after much debate and hemming and hawing on my part..I have finally decide to suck it up and convert my fantasy campaing world to Hero. I have put this off for years, saying to myself "I'm just so used to D&D that I will just use Hero for everything but fantasy" I have already started by converting races. I will post them all here for your comments, suggestions and criticisms. I have already done 2 in other posts and will provide links. War Trolls: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1494229#post1494229 Iron Dwarves: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1503332#post1503332 I do have a couple more types of dwarves and I will be converting them later. But next up for me will be Sand Elves. I have also converted one of my major npc's and he can be found here. Gorilla the Ogre: http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61830
  13. Re: Catgirls (and Catboys) for Fantasy I don't think so...my Red Steel books are in storage right now so I can't look it up. The one thing I do remember is that they were potrayed as having a Samurai like code of honor. Not my first choice of race I like the lupins and the tortles better myself.
  14. Re: [Race] Iron Dwarves Hey if it wasnt for the Alternate NCM machine on your sight I probably would never have gone through the process of converting my fantasy campaign world from D&D to Hero. So much kudos to you and all the work you put into your sight for helping me go completey Hero for all my gaming needs.
  15. Re: [Race] Iron Dwarves I thought of it before I wrote it up, but I looked at your dwarven write ups and saw you had already done all the figuring so I just copied.
  16. Just thought I would post my second racial template for review/use. These are the main form of dwarves of my campaign world of Drakikor. as with the war trolls this is just a base template to build a character on. 18. Re: Soul Calibur Great game...I've got Soul Caliber 2 for my Game Cube. I mainly play as Link (they added exclusives for each system. X-Box was Spawn and PS2 was Hiehachi from Tekken). But I also like using Raphael and Cassandra.
  19. Re: [Race for review] War Trolls I have made some alterations to my War Troll's so I changed the original post and put the new template file for HD there as well.
  20. Re: [Character] Gorilla the Ogre Umm he's an ogre not a troll
  21. Re: [Race for review] War Trolls Ah...yes I know trolls generally regenerate. However in my campaign world most trolls turn to stone in daylight. War trolls can go out in daylight but lost the regen. I might however give them a lower regn rate instead of none at all.
  22. Re: Who are the top 5 most powerful characters in your Campaign. I should note my campaign world is a mixture of Marvel, DC, Champions and my own write-ups. 1: Kill Ratio By far the most physically intimidating villain in my campaign world. 1403 points. 100 R.O.C.'s (150 pt robots) plus 3 loyal cybernetic supervillain followers..Psi-Bar (550pt mentalist), Titanus (483pt Brick) & Razor (553 pt martial artist). Most notable event..killing Reed & Susan Richards. 2: Dr. Destoyer Same as CKC. Most notable event: Battle of Detroit which resulted in the deaths of Iron Man, Angel, Iceman and many others. 3: The Hulk Professor version. Onslaught never happened so the hulk has remained this way. Most Notable Event: Along with Superman (who died)..destroying Doomsday. 4: Proffesor Muerte: Enforcer84's write up. Most Notable event..returning from the dead. American Avenger Got powers after 9/11. Second most powerful hero after the Hulk. Most Notable event...Helping loate Saddam Huseein and Osama Bin Laden. For write ups {except Dr.D (see CKC) and Prof Muerte (talk to Enforcer84)}follow the link in my signature. For the timeline in which these events occured follow the other link in my signature.
  23. Re: [Character] Gorilla the Ogre He is one of my most endearing npc's and I have never had a player not like him that's why I decide to share him.
  24. Ok this is my first write up for a fantasy campaign. I present to you a major NPC in my campaign world. Gorilla the ogre. Owner and propriater of the Jolly Ogre Inn in the city of Freehold. I did not include any of his equipment...mainly because he never needs to use it. Background: Gorilla was something rare among ogres. He felt no need for a lot of the snsless violence that his race typically exhibited, so at an early age he left his tribe. As he traveled he tried to make friends, but most people seeing him ran away in fear. He eventually found his way to the city of Freehold, where he expected the same treatment, but was suprised that the guards let him walk right past them. As he walked through the city street he was amazed that no one ran from him and even more shocked that a merchant gave him a very decent price for a number of animal skins he had in his pack. He stayed in the city for quite a number of years, finding work with a dwarven weaponsmith, and making many friends, who affectionatly named him Gorilla. After a few years working in with the old smith he decided to take up the life of adventuring. He had many adventures and managed to save up a considerable sum of money. His adventuring career came to an end when he lost one of his eyes. He returned to Freehold and using his vast saving bought several abandon houses and built the Jolly Ogre Inn. The inn was a vast success and over the years he expanded the building and it is now the largest inn/tavern in the city. Personality: Gorilla is a very kind and gentle soul who is well known throughout the city of Freehold. He does have a temper but it takes alot to set him off. If you do you likely to fins yourself dumped in a large vat of lard and 'skidded' down the street leading up to his inn. Gorilla is a devout follower of Turoch the god of stenght and honor. (Note: Turoch's D&D alignment would be LG. Gorillas would be NG) Appearance: Gorilla stands nearly 9 feet tall and weighs close to 375 lbs. He skin is greenish in color, his hair is long and black and his one eye is bright orange. He typically wears black pantallons, knee high leather boots and a kitchen apron. He is very clean for an ogre and bathes daily.
