Well, I generally avoid political threads since I know almost exactly as much about American Politics as I do about the sensations of childbirth*, so I can't offer an opinion. Everyone sounds the same to me in those threads, regardless of their political leanings, and the "liberal" and "conservative" labels don't help me because the words mean the same thing in this country. * I've been told, "It's just like sh!tting a watermelon."

Re: Ridiculous things in comics that you don't mind. [Minor Derail]Kevin Conroy does this when voicing Batman; he speaks normally for Bruce Wayne, but deepens his voice for Batman. IIRR Christian Bale did the same thing in Batman Begins. In the new "The Batman" cartoon, the guy who does his voice (not Conroy) does the same thing. They had one episode when Alfred patched thru a call to the Batman in the Batmobile with the warning "She's calling for Master Bruce" and he spoke to her in Bruce's voice.[/Minor Derail].

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Thanks, Bazza. I actually have Allan's e-mail somewhere from a boardgaming mailing list. Darwin has two gaming stores? Wow, luxury! We've only had one since Tactics sadly closed its doors a few years back, and like I said the remaining store doesn't do HERO. Nothing on that list of books for me, I'll just put an order through the HERO on-line store when I'm ready for my next purchase - I'm thinking about getting Champions and Terran Empire, maybe the Resource Kit too.
