Re: open Beta for Preorders?
I can double my memory for cheaps, so we'll see if that helps. If I can limp along until I can afford that nutty Acer Predator I will be happy.
Re: open Beta for Preorders?
Well, a $5 pre-order deposit got me the Beta key. I have determined that i'll need a better rig that this laptop to run this puppy.
Re: Lifetime Subscription
One of the GenCon demo guys was all sunshine and unicorns about the 360 release, but two of his co-workers were more cautious with their enthusiasm.
Re: Any plans for a HERO Players Superteam once game is released?
Two of the booth monkeys at GenCon told me Microsoft is insisting on separate servers. A third told me "Oh, yeah. Sure you can play with PC users. But there was a milestone meeting with MS yesterday and I don't know how that went."
Re: Any new info on the X-Box 360 release date and if subscription is required for th
Microsoft is getting really twitchy with Cryptic on the 360 version. I got the impression that it's far from a done deal, and MS is demanding changes for legal & business reasons. PC & 360 users will not be able to share servers, for example.
Re: Lifetime Subscription
I was going to wait for the xbox release, but from my conversations with the demo crew at Gencon I am not convinced it will happen. Microsoft is not allowing several features like PC & 360 users sharing servers. I will preorder the PC version tonight.

Re: Teen Hero Names
The unnamed teens are an alien female shape-shifter with a Molly Ringwald obsession, a male lycanthope (or caninethope more accurately), a female mentalist, a male brick, and a male Hydroman clone.
What's your take on Teen Hero names? Do you name them the same as any other character or do you try to capture what a teen would think was "kewl"?
I am running a Teen Champs at a con and I am not happy with the character names.
Re: Champion's Universe or your own
My re-occuring campaign is homegrown, primarily based in NYC, however I have quite often filed the serial numbers off CU characters. I am running my first proper CU game this year at GenCon.
