  1. Yeah, grumpy about FBOs for sure. Meh, I find that I can bear his ire with great fortitude. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even when it differs from my own (and therefore is clearly wrong).
  2. Telling another person you subscribe to a different belief system than they, and find their beliefs antithetical to your own is wrong?
  3. Utterly offensive and poorly constructed argument as well.
  4. I see you have made a strong case for your belief system here. Very interesting, thanks.
  5. That's possible, depends on how far that they drop LSU from #2. Last time that happened the non- conference champ was number 1 in the playoff rankings when they lost, IIRC. The committee does have a pretty strong record of putting conference champions in the playoff. Be interesting to see if they'll only drop LSU 2 spots with a loss to Georgia, more than that and it won't matter.
  6. Multipower? Second slot for bludgeoning.
  7. Fantastic. OU continues their dominance of the Pokes, series is now 89-18-7. Playing top ten Baylor for the conference title next week. Win that and they'll be in serious discussion for the playoffs.
  8. Honestly I had great weather. High low 50s, no rain, good walking around town stuff. One of the best trips I've had. The steak at Jak's Grill was pretty fantastic. Ivar's was good halibut. Such a good time. I stayed at the Mariott BonVoy Waterfront, good view. Flying out now. I'll be back though, just a really neat town.
  9. Amazing birthday trip. Going to be tired tomorrow. We got every thing in on the CityPass. Harbor tour, aquarium, Chihuly Glass, MoPop, Space Needle. Also hit Pikes Place Market, rode the monorail, and lots of great food. I tried to pick up a Ghoul Bounty or check one of the Arcologies like I've read about, but didn't seem to be able to find it. Great experience.
  10. Yeah, I never really mind getting older. Beats the alternative.
  11. As I age like fine wine, I've decided to venture forth from my dark palace to stretch my bony hand to claim new lands beyond the Flaeness. Turned 50 today, and went to a strange land I have never seen before with my brother to celebrate myself, the misty kingdom of Seattle. Very cool city. You Washington based HERO-philes are lucky folks. I hit the market yesterday after I arrived, had a lovely fish and chips at Ivar's, now I'm off to do touristy stuff.
  12. Washington State or Oregon makes them bowl eligible. I know, I know. But that's why they play the games.
  13. Yeah, I remember what a pretense of D looked like at OU. We used to win national championships with that. Huh. Guess we decided it was less exciting than our current model. Edit: The current model is not good for my blood pressure. Just went up by 3, minute forty five left. Going to rely on the defense to win? I have a bad feeling about this...
  14. We don't cotton to your strange ideas about football in the Sooner State.
  15. My feelings about the paper thin depth of Oklahoma's defense and the resultant performance this week can best be summarized as follows:
  16. Given the context, I'm thinking this is "fear, uncertainty, and doubt"
  17. Details out on the Heavy Metal expansion. 10 new mechs, plus lots of new integrated mech gadgets, inferno missiles, LBX and AC autocannon. Yikes there goes my free time. Flea Assassin Vulcan Phoenix Hawk Annihilator Archer Rifleman Marauder Warhammer Bullshark (non-lore, custom mech)
  18. Seriously, Washington Post? Really? They actually deserve the scorn they're getting on this one. The #WaPodeathnotices tag is hilarious. Adolf Hitler, passionate community planner and dynamic public speaker, dies at 56. Scar, political idealist and leader of Pride Rock who made history by integrating the lion and hyena communities, is dead after a coup d’etat. Osama bin Laden, real estate developer and devoted father dies at age 54 Jeffrey Dahmer, lover of exotic cuisine, dies at 34 Edit: (love this one) Bane, city planner who overcame physical pain to level the playing field, dies at 37
  19. Seemed appropriate. At least I'm not a Notre Dame fan this week.
