  1. I think they'll build so as to appear like Arya will murder/assassinate Dany, but it will be Jon. Arya kills Greyworm to protect Jon. Drogon gets killed when he comes across Dany and rages. Maybe trapped, tunnel with a scorpion or something of that nature. I think they've got to kill the remaining dragon. That's the one thing that seems certain to me. You can't have that murder machine running around Westeros. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do. Wish there wasn't so much time pressure but it is what it is. S8e3 was fantastic and now it feels like tying up loose campaign ends. Probably ends with this:
  2. "There is only one God. A girl knows his name. And all men know his gift."
  3. Agreed, and then kill it anyway. Practically it is too dangerous to live after King's Landing.
  4. This. And her dragon too, of course. The fire breathing death machine is too dangerous to leave around, unless Jon can control it.
  5. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and her name that sat on him was Arya, and Hell followed with her. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
  6. Just watched the Burlington Bar reactions to S8, E3. I'm still really happy with that episode. So fun and lots of good moments. Going back through the series so much of it was set up along the way. After so many horrible, tragic, awful moments it is really nice to get some closure and victory in a straight up good vs evil battle. That was over an hour of really entertaining television. I didn't lose interest at any time. Good stuff.
  7. From the recent scene in season 8, episode 2. Hilarious to me, she's now 22 (but anyone recently binge watching the show saw her at 11 in season 1). Season 8, episode 3 was really good in my opinion.
  8. Pretty good. The prevalence of serious illness is relatively low. https://www.nami.org/learn-more/mental-health-by-the-numbers
  9. Yes. It is a paraphilia. Sexual Masochism Disorder.
  10. It is good to be self aware. Those already mad have nothing to fear. It is entirely possible that much of the nation will have failed their SAN check by 2020 anyway.
  11. Cthulu is a talented arcanist. Really, it's an intriguing option no matter how you look at it. After Dagon's football team won the CFP championship it might be refreshing to see such a turn of events. For survivors. Before their mind collapsed in the face of eldritch horror.
  12. Finally got around to watching the movie. Pretty solid, I enjoyed it. I liked Brie Larson in the role. Enjoyed the energy projecter powers and the removal of a power damper as a reason for upscale in power level. Ronan the Accuser was cool, even as a backdrop to the main story. Young Nick Fury was fun. In fact the whole movie was pretty fun. I'd put this in an upper tier (solid B+) of the Marvel echelon. I didn't care for the Supreme Intelligence depiction. Thought "I'm Just A Girl" was WAY too heavy handed as fight music (yes, we get it) - would've been more effective to have the same sequence and interactions with a different musical number. The Skrull suddenly being so benign was jarring. I do think it's interesting seeing Marvel try to take a lead from DC (Wonder Woman). They did a nice job. Just unusual as its been the other way around cinematically. Good movie. I'll watch it again when it comes out in streaming medium.
  13. It resonates with me as well. Really speaks to the values I was raised with.
  14. Given the campaign season is underway, let me endorse another option for folks to consider as a remedy to the current crop of issues...
  15. Character level 9-12 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_City_of_Skulls
  16. Kind of like that, yeah. The cybermen created by Cyborg Superman definitely had overtones similar to the episode you indicated.
  17. I'm guessing I would be originally a strikingly handsome cambion. But then in an epic battle that resulted from my father striking out against my mother in a bid for freedom, my handsome form would be split into two "halves". I could then either appear in the form of a gnarled, old human male, or as a bloated, red-skinned demonic figure. In my demonic form, I would be seven feet tall, with reddish skin, pointed ears, and long, steely fingers. In my human form, I would be barely five feet in height, and could attack with a disgusting spittle that withers all that it touches. I mean, hypothetically. Hard to be sure, specifically.
