  2. Re: WWYCD? "Once more, with Justice" Doc Shocker - Despite his 20-something celeb status and rather trendy appearance Doc's song would be old school punk with lyrics about how great it is to be super powered and what a blast his "unlife" is. If any secrets were to slip it would be in a pathetic emo/screamo piece about how he hates his father. He'd go after the source simply because it's the right thing to do. As for the "consequences" he really wouldn't care, after all, he's been seen in public with Lindsay, Britney, Paris... the list goes on.
  3. Re: That Autograph Isn't Mine! Coyote would initially see the humor in the situation and let it continue for a little while. During that time he would also be investigating and gathering as much info as he could. He'd also attend an appearance in one of his cover IDs and make sure to get the guy's scent for later tracking. The Copyote's actions and motive would determine what happened next. Prankster, Adoring Fan, Con Artist: Would be tracked down at home and woken up in the middle of the night. "Very funny. Honest. Keep up the good work." then as he's leaving "Screw up and you'll live to regret it." Villain or Villain's pawn: The villain, if able to avoid being tracked, would be ambushed on the Sunday of the Con (preferably late in the afternoon) and beaten into revealing his motive. A pawn wouldn't get treated as roughly (if a baseline) but would get pretty much the same treatment until he ratted out his boss. Doc Shocker: would just show up to see how the impostor pulled off the whole "undead guy with lightning where his eyes should be" bit. Then throw off his disguise and, with minor display of power and a HUGE display of showmanship, teleport next to the fraud for a ambush photo-op. "Let's hear it folks! Let's hear it for (what's your name dude?)" Then introduce the pretender to his lawyers and PR people. Of course, if it's a villain Doc teleports them both away from the public and proceeds to fry the baddy.
  4. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine THIS, this is a totally AWESOME character! I would love to see him commanding an army (fleet?) of sharks to take out the bad guys. Or maybe convince a whale to jump out of the water and land on some loser.
  5. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... My co-GM and I are in the process of creating NPCs for our upcoming Teen Champions campaign. We're going to be running a small version of Ravenswood that is strictly for the super set. Jay's character: Maxwell Morgan a.k.a. Magmyte the Teenage Lord of Lava - squeaky clean, smart, comic book fan, all around nice guy My character: Seth Thomas - no known alias at this time - oblivious, uber fanboy, so much so that he intentionally concocted a formula to give himself powers - the result he know looks like a 3'7" faun and only has a few minor powers - a little extra running and leaping - and Life Support vs. sleep and vs. anything he eats, this is the kind of kid that shows up for school picture day wearing his ST:TNG Captain's Uniform Jay: Seth is such a nerd even Max would beat him up. Me: Max is captain of the Chess Team. The CHESS TEAM Jay: My point exactly.
  6. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine The update looks good so far. Looks to be really good when everything is up and running.
  7. Re: Character Depository These are some interesting characters. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Re: Seeking a character name for a Puerto Rican teleporter Repped for a great idea and being yet another person that seems to be able to read my mind.
  9. Re: Project 275 Power Armor Hero: Warbird for review How about: Weaponized Aerial Recon: (and then the BIRD part)?
  10. Re: Project 275 Power Armor Hero: Warbird for review Repped for reading my mind!
  11. Re: Millenium City University: any Reviews? Can I get a seahorse? Sorry.... I haven't picked up the MCU yet but I'm looking forward to it. I have to get Teen Champions soon too, specifically for Ravenswood.
  12. Re: about bricks and possibly super powers in general QFT
  13. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine There are 3 icons in the upper right hand corner.
  14. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... To the best of my knowledge Yankee Daring is a parody character. I'd have to ask the creator. You have to take the posts in the manner they are presented, as a joke.
  15. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Very Nifty! Thanks for sharing.
  16. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Yankee Daring is probably the meanest sunnuvabitch you'll ever meet.

  18. Re: A Game Of Questions Why do you want the "T"?
  19. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Am I the only person that finds it totally unfair that we can't retaliate in kind? The only thing that happens after I've had a burrito is the pets wonder why my chair made that noise and why my wife is leaving the room.
  20. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER It is VERY important to make sure your pets, cats and/or dogs, do not get hold of any curried chicken you might accidentally drop while preparing dinner. In my case, one of each managed to split a piece. For three days after that incident the house positively REEKED!! Of course, Lillie (the cat) and Butchie (the dog) felt they just HAD to spend as much time as possible with me during those three days.
  21. Re: A Game Of Questions What kind of job do you have?
  22. Re: WWYCD: miscarriage of justice Coyote: Would use his underworld contacts to spread rumors in regards to the villain's plans to turn States' Evidence against the various crime families and/or VIPER.
  23. Re: A Body of Diamond I seem to recall that diamonds have nearly the same refractive value as water. Perhaps you could give him an Invis limited to only under water.
  24. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... From the last game session I attended, before the GM made a couple of incredibly stupid RL choices that resulted in my leaving the group. Anyway Ron, the GM, is notorious for his mispronunciations. It's a Buffy/Angel supernatural game. Lenny: (playing a cleric-druid type character) I'm going to create an area of Holy Ground to protect us from the vamps. Ron: Right, so what are you guys doing while Grale is consummating the ground? Me: Pointing and laughing. Hilarity ensues as Ron failed to recognize his mispronunciation and then denies having ever said it.
