Re: Entangle vs CON? I would think this would have to be linked to some other form of attack to get the venom into the target's system. And limited to only working when the main delivery system does at least 1 point of body.

Re: Hero vs Hero combats: Fun Stuff! With my upcoming Teen Champions/Ravenswood campaign I'll be using the "Danger Room" scenario from time to time. I have a few of variations in mind. Save the Citizen - Straight out of Sky High with variations on the number of participants King of the Hill - One PC starts in the target location the others try to remove/replace that PC. Team work optional. Only one person can occupy the "Hill" at a time. The person that remains on top the longest wins. Blue vs. Bronze - Four on Four with various objectives such as Capture the Flag, Repel the Attackers and Protect the Objective. Of course, standard team vs. team combat is part of this. Obstacle Course - Each PC tries to make it through a number of challenges designed for their power set while the rest of the PCs try to hinder their progress. The student to complete their course in the shortest time is the winner. Hmmmm does anybody have any other ideas?

Re: Power Description Knowing the Signal Frequency could be useful. I would say you could only know who is broadcasting if that info is included in the signal. For example, the radio in my car will show (on the little digi-screen) what station I am listening to and what song is playing. One of the local college broadcasts does not contain the info about the music being played so I don't get that on the display. But having said that, I think more detailed info would fall under Analyze. Maybe add some sort of range/triangulation ability? Hmmm, do cell phones fall into HRRP category?

Re: Don't touch the cat Heh, releasing a spider on the gaming table would be a Ragnarök level event. As in the Death of the Gods (a.k.a. the GM). I think centipedes would also trigger Ragnarök.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Heh OK... after you have created a character you need to press the CTRL key and the Print Screen key at the same time. Then open some kind of image software. Then open a new file in that software and go to the Edit Menu and select Paste. Then crop everything that you do not want to keep. Under the File menu select Save as and make sure you choose the JPEG file extension. Does that help?

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Best bet is a screen grab and save as a jpeg. Then when you post scroll down to the Manage Attachments button to upload it.

Re: City of Heroes - Online Hero Game Thing that irritates me, I've been playing with I12 on the test server, and from what I can gather if you want the Roman Armor costume pieces you have to do the Task Force. Which means you HAVE to do it for every character. That's a load of crap. I've been asking for Roman costume pieces since before ALPHA.

Re: Don't touch the cat Many years ago I gamed at a friend's house where the parrot, an African Grey named Reboot, was allowed free reign. While we rarely had to worry there was the occasional aerial assault. Reboot had a fondness for colored polyhedrals and would steal them. Fortunately he would willingly trade them for a treat.

Re: The Deconstructing of Wynnie Wonder Doc Shocker would use the cry for help as evidence the Wynnie is obviously self aware and then alert the media. He would also attempt a forced buy out of Edge E's rights to her. During that time he would also have his team mate, Icon, use his cyberpathy to determine what Wynnie wants. If her programming was actually damaged by the shock to the system it would have to be repaired. If the self awareness is genuine then Doc would have his legal team begin laying the groundwork for filing charges against Edge E for violation of Wynnie's civil rights. So let's say the self awareness was simply a result of the shock. After it had been repaired Doc would continue to attempt the buy out. Once he had acquired the rights to Wynnie he would then have Icon reset the self aware programming and sell Wynnie the rights to "herself" for a dollar. Which he would gladly loan her. Coyote would use Edge E's greed against themselves by asking his Patron (THE Coyote) to allow Wynnie to ignore their over-ride programming. He would also harass the people at Edge E under cover of illusion or disguise to scare the hell out of them. Demanding that they listen to Wynnie and let her do as she pleases. I may have to do something like this to my players.
