Worst words that I ever heard were "We should have shaved him before we put all that tape there"

Re. your post, C. -- I did my tax return by text message.
While it only took me maybe 2-3 hours to do my taxes (most of that checking over reciepts for self business), I wish the US would get to a simplified tax code. (Just a straight progressive tax would be nice)

As long as its just an itch, right? Keep an eye on that thing!
I'm going into (outpatient) surgery this afternoon. I'll post again afterwards.
It's just itching after reading your trials. It's been the same size since my early 20s, so nothing too much to worry about. Good luck with your surgery.

Further on the wife's back stuff:
We have appealed again, though not with any better documentation, after meeting with several people who said, just resubmit. First time is always rejected.
Good news front, the pain doctor and orthopedic surgeon took another look at figure the pain is radiating further up than where she got injected before. So she got a bunch of injections to the thorasic (sp?) region. This does seem to have helped a lot with the pain. And since my wife hasn't gotten a good nights sleep in probably 2 years, she's been sleeping most of the week.
Bad news is, end of the month, she'll probably be cut loose from work. And then it's COBRA for insurance. We can't even afford one month at that rate. And we couldn't apply for healthcare earlier, since we had insurance, and with the deadline past, it takes a special exception to get it. So we probably will not have insurance come may. I have applied for a job that will get us insurance, but even though I'm more than qualified, I doubt I'll get it.

Yikes Xavier. But usually, those things should come out if they're acting like jerks.
Now I'm thinking the cyst in my back is itching...

So sorry Collie.

I'm with Lord Liaden, if treated with respect it would probably be OK. Based on how many origins come from sources that are just as bad. How many origins are tied to Nagasaki & Hiroshima?
However, it really depends on the players and we can't answer that for you. They do.

Of course, I really should replace my Sherlock Bones mug: http://www.lacoroner.com/%2FLA-County-Coroner-Sherlock-Mug-P55.aspx

I can't even get into how annoyed I am at bureacracy at the moment.

Cancer's post about the mug reminded me that I have a "Have a relatively non-threatening stress free day" Coffee mug. Bright yellow with a non-smily face.
Pretty sure I got it from a job that I left in '94. Surprised it's still alive, though so are a couple others from that era including my LA Cororner mug.

Friends came into town on Friday, left this afternoon. Lots of good food, fun, and explorations in Zion & Bryce park. I was going to take them into a slot canyon, but we got some thunderstorms yesterday making that a bad idea.

Arg! FB posting by someone complaining about Common Core math, but someone commenting "Math isn't useful after school, I asked the math teacher and he agreed that algerbra is useless!"
This town really pisses me off sometimes.

This board really needs a sarcasm detection feature.
We do have a surplus of sarcasm emitters.
I blame Enforcer84. Damn lack of pants.

Wow. WA's liquor taxes are much higher than yours ... I don't think I can get a fifth of that for twice that price, mayb three times that price.
The one I saw was in Arizona. I think the lowest I've seen in Utah was around $25 for a 750ml.
Every single state seems to need a different set of rules.

I found Bushmill's at Safeway for $16. (club special)

During college, there was a period where we had seven bricks and one martial artist. However, everyone had different schticks, so it was fine.

You can definitely find them available, Looks like Amazon has them in the $35 area.

Just a three turtle stack, then photoshopped.

The dog that was producing copious amounts of vomit underwent surgery today and it was an apricot pit causing all the problems.
Her dogs will be wearing muzzles on future walks to prevent them from scrounging up stuff.

The story was great but the rules were horrible... it was HERO 4e melded with GURPS. And made both systems look like crap.
Not GURPS, Interlock System.
After 15 years, I've softened my view a bit. I still think it was crap, but the biggest problem was it wasn't complete at the time, and we had been given hope of a new version that Steve Long had put together. (Which was pretty much what 5th edtion turned out to be after corporate hijinks)

Point wise, it works out the same. I do like the fewer complications meaning that they are more meaningful.
Backstory with disads does make the GM job easier.

El Centro, California seems like one of those places. I spent a week there for a job, pre-internet.
