  1. Crusader This is Crusader. As in Crusader knight. Part of a team of three that came looking for Stiletto. Crusader used old weapons and was a warrior for the Church. A counterpart to the normal Campaign's Shining Knight but without the noble steed. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  2. Avenger 2 This is a second rendering of the Avenger done a bit more dynamically. Again no colour. Again drawn by my brother Paul. This version was an interdimensional replica part of a team of three looking for the villainous Stiletto. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  3. The Avenger This was Paul Geelan's second character. He had a boomerang which doubled as armour. And an irritating catch phrase 'But I'm just a normal man'. After decking a villain usually. Bearing in mind the levels and power of his martial arts (pre 4th edition) and Find Weakness it was not too surprising. The other catch phrase was 'He will be' dramatic pause 'avenged'. This is the guy who avenged his parents by murdering the Cobra. yes that Cobra. This is a drawing my brother did of the character and lacks the blue and red colour scheme. Blue was predominant. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  4. Yup the site is back and it's nice to see the stuff.
  5. And like the foes of the X-Men, these people will call the Superpowered population Gene Trash. Or Scum
  6. The origin of the Strangers in the comic of the same name is that they were all on the same San Francisco cable car that was hit by a lightning bolt. They were later joined by a witch character that was from the people responsible. Someone else who was injured by the cable car following the strike became a hero as well. One of the only people unaffected was thrown off the car for getting too heavy with his girlfriend. But this guy was an industrialist and his girlfriend was a robot. Well more like an android. The android acquired sentience as a result of the strike since referred to as the jump start.
  7. No generator, but would it help if we posted ones that we know about or have seen or made up ourselves ?
  8. It is nice to hear that Eternia survived. Not many heroes have the regeneration from death ability. Good for her.
  9. Even Foxbat would not dare try to turn the Queen into Elvis Incidentally isn't Celine Dion trying to become Elvis ? Don't believe me ? Then who is doing a whole season oc concerts in Vegas for several years in a row. Dion is. Who did this previously ? Elvis. Coincidence ? think not.
  10. Too General/Nebulous or Specific Part 7 Dave, One more after this but there are less than 20 in it. Sibyl Silver Age SLAD (Supreme Lord Admiral of Deneb) SLED (Supreme Lord Executioner of Deneb) Small Change Sound of the Crowd Southern Gentleman Spearfish Squire Go St Lawrence Stagger Steeleye Span Storvak Suit, The Super Criminal Superhero Superhuman Supervillain Syndicate Termagent (British ship) Testify Thermocouple Torc Transporter Trilobite Turcopole (cavalry of the Crusades) Turncoat Undercover Operative Underworld The Sibyl was an Oracle in ancient Rome. SLAD and SLED. You stated that you wanted acronyms to be fully set out. Whether you believe that these members of the military of Deneb, aliens from my campaign are worthy is your call. Sound of the Crowd was sonic powered. The Suit was power armour developed by the government. Testify had mind control powers based on religon. Thermocouple had heat and cold powers. Character sheet again in the Super Images thread. Torc is an old term for a crown or a weapon which was like a tiara. Circular, it went around the head or on top of the head. Celtish I believe. Transporter is the name of a criminal whose power is to get colleagues to a place. And that's all. Trilobite is a fossil, so one coming back to life was the idea
  11. Four Horsemen of Dr Apocalypse: War The last of Four Horsemen. War summoned weapons from a pocket dimension and then used them on his opponents. Again I had size difficulties with the image and had to reduce it. I also included some of the character sheet it was on so that people could see the sword properly. All the Horsemen were created and drawn by Paul Geelan. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request.
  12. Four Horsemen of Dr Apocalypse: Plague Plague or Pestilance is the weakest of the drawings but still good. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  13. Four Horsemen of Dr Apocalypse: Fear This is the second of the Four Horsemen, Fear. Easier to stat a trait like that than say Famine if you want instant results. EDIT: Attachment removed. Avaialble on request
  14. Four Horsemen of Dr Apocalypse The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is a popular metaphor for all budding and seasoned GMs. What Paul Geelan did was have Dr Apocalypse think that he should have his own versions of these. So when Birmangham England got its own volcano, who was guarding it but the Four Horsemen of Dr Apocalypse. All four horsemen had mechanical steeds. This is Paul's version of Death. As with Ulik I had great difficulties sizing this, so thid is a reduced image that the board would accept. And I think this looks like the best of the four images. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  15. Ulik the Radioactive Troll Always be careful what you put on your character sheet. For if you say that you will take damage from Radioactive Trolls, then so be it. Created and drawn by Paul Geelan Ulik was like Vincento a villain from another dimension. Ulik was hunted by Elvis (yes That Elvis) the Centaur. Thank you very much. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  16. Out of interest, how much do the private commissions cost ? If you are willing to divulge that is.
  17. It was usually the mutants who got this. They were declared dangerous and attacked without warning. The other heroes lobbied the government to make sure that this was never officially backed. And although several of the team should have been declared Weapons off Mass Destruction, it never actually happened.
  18. Could ShelleyCM please tell me what the Green Lion Trilogy and the Keltiad are about as I must confess I have no idea what these are about. Oh and you like Georgian England. Jolly good show, old stick ! Sorry had to do that. We have always done the World as is with a few changes adapting some of the Champions stuff that came out. For example none of the Kingdom of Champions characters ever appeared. We were British anyway, we did not need to. Character background was widely different but I think the Voidwalker's origin was the most interesting. One of a race of people who lived between the stars he was summoned to earth by an alchemist and bonded to him, He then spent centuries looking and failing to find others of his kind. Unsurprising as he was now unique. He then managed to sepearte himself and radically changed again when he absorbed some of the power of the Destroyer. I'll post character designs in the SuperHero Image thread so you can see what I mean.
  19. Justice Machine Some people have a difficult time adjusting to a different genre. Chris was one of these. No probs with Dungeons and Dragons or Runequest but his characters for Champions were the Ranger, The Monk and The Justice Machine. Now the latter does not sound too bad until you look at the fine detail. The JM was catapulted into the 20th Century and had a compulsion to call people demons before blowing their heads off with his firey blast. Can anyone say Fireball coming on line ? Cross that with Cyclops of the X-Men and you have the Justice Machine. And this was a hero. Funnily enough it was the Ranger who killed people first. I cannot recall anyone that the JM killed. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  20. Alternate Earth Steelhead Those of you who have been following the thread since I began putting up images will have seen Stiletto who came from an alternate earth. This is one of the colleagues who followed her. Based on the Ironskull and Steelhead designs, again this is black and white. But has a more Medieval look to it. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  21. Steelhead I later decided that Ironskull was a post inside Viper and its successor. So that experienced agents could become this person. I then wanted an advanced and smoother design. And so we have Steelhead. This is black and white. Drawn by my brother Paul EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  22. Ironskull I came up with an idea for a Viper villain with a quasi battlesuit but with a vicious helmet so that he could do serious head butt damage. Thus Ironskull. Never did too well against the heroes but that's life. Drawn by my brother Paul. EDIT: Attachment removed. Available on request
  23. I like the Cat pics and I have seen the Graviton pose before Mr Vimes. Clue me in where does it come from ? I am getting an idea of a guy in black and white like the Inbetweener from Marvel.
  24. You can see some of the silly ones in the Superhero Images thread. Dr Jackal was created by the infamous Marion Willow. He was a refined Gentleman in Top Hat. And basically a Jackal as human being. His partner in crime was Mr Punch. Like Punch from the Punch and Judy shows. These were Paul Geelan's creations. And then there was Dr Strangefruit. Again picture in the Superhero Images thread, page 14 I believe. Cross Caren Miranda with Dr Doom. Great fun. I did one called Armagideon who did very bizarre things before being carted back to the Mental Hospital. Like trying to stick solid rocket boosters to Big Ben (the clock by the Houses of Parliament in London) to launch it into orbit to kill mini aliens. He did have one major triumph. He thought he was Lord Foul the Despiser from The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. And the Main GM who was playing that night bought it hook, line and sinker. The song really should have clued him in but no he was paralysed. After the scenario he had the look of one of the Warner or MGM cartoons with the Jackass head. He realised with hindsight he should have seen through it.
  25. Too General/Nebulous or Specific Part 6 Dave, Here we go again Public Enemy Public Enemy No 1 Public Prosecutor Public Relations Public Spirit Punch Drunk Punishment (Crime's partner) Purple Heart Rabies Red Badge Red Cent Red Deer Redoubtable Resolution Rogue Round Robin Ryanna the Jungle Queen Sacrifice Sap Science Assassin Scholar Scotsman Second Secure Semi-Tough Sense of Wonder Sexton (member of the clergy) Seyditlez (German warship) Shangri La Short Round Some criminals would rejoice in declaring themselves the Public Enemy or Public Enemy No 1. The Press could declare them that as well. Granted it could fail on a too general term. Of the other Public ones I think Public Spirit might be copyright having appeared in the Marshall Law comic. The Public Prosecutor is more of a specific American vigilante due to what other countries call the lawyers for the Prosecution. And one who wants to tie himself more to the law might use Public Prosecutor rather than Prosecutor or Prosecution. Rogue. If you disallowing D+D character types then Rogue would go. Regardless that it is also the name of the X-Man. If Ryanna is dumped on name grounds, what about Jungle Queen ? Second can either be used as the number o to do with time. Shangri La is a hippy paranormal.
