  1. Well with the big read belt gone, at least the company can focus on the belt that's actually important to the company: The World Title that Kofi Kingston is holding. After all it's only the belt that's been the top prize in the company since the 1960's.
  2. If you'd told me five years or so ago that in 2019 I'd have dumped ROH for bad booking, while enthusiastically watching the former TNA I'd have said you were crazy, but that's precisely what's happened. ROH has hired the Beautiful People and are pushing them over all the talented folks in their women's division while their heavyweight title is currently around the waist of the man who makes Randy Orton look charismatic, Matt Taven. Combine that with the constant focus on Bully Ray and the Briscoes and I can't bear to sit through an episode of ROH TV to see the wrestlers I actually do like. Meanwhile over on Impact they have the World Title on the awesome Brian Cage who has an actual interesting storyline going with Michael Elgin and Johnny Impact, LAX is having awesome title defenses against pretty much whomever they face, the Deaners have started a fun looking feud against the Desi Hit Squad and the roster is pretty much choc a bloc with wrestlers I like. I'm hoping ROH can turn things around like Impact Wrestling has, because I really want to be a fan of both.
  3. It's pretty much what all these characters deserve anyhow.
  4. As long as Endgame brings back all the characters slain by Thanos, I'll be happy.
  5. So who is everybody talking about after WWE's tribute to Mean Gene? Who is trending after the tribute to their former employee? Hulk Hogan. ?
  6. Pretty sure that was the one movie where he was a good guy.
  7. So apparently Becky Lynch is no longer wrestling Rhonda Rousey at Survivor Series. From what I heard, she got potatoed by Nia Jax resulting in a broken face and concussion.
  8. Because somebody in WWE management think the guy showing up for work as little as possible makes him a 'draw.'
  9. So apparently WWE put the Universal Title back on Brock Lesnar over in Saudi Arabia. I hope he doesn't find his title defense schedule of once every other blue moon to stressful.
  10. Which means Aries has burned bridges with ROH and Impact. Not sure of the circumstances of his WWE release so I can't comment there. He might be damaged goods at this point.
  11. And they fired him because of their 'family values' because nothing says family values like enabling the smear campaign of a right wing rape advocate. Also haven't Disney owned companies hired Victor Salva in the past? No seriously, I'm asking.
  12. The 'humanity virus' portion of the trailer seems like it's being said by the villain, well the human villain anyway since it's likely King Ghidorah will be the big bad of the movie, of the piece. I've watched quite a few Godzilla movies after all and folks who support an anti-humanity stance in them tend to always be villains. Ergo the 'species shaming' didn't bother me all that much. Villains are supposed to express horrible views after all.
  13. If Rorschach was feeling charitable that day.
  14. True, though I don't actually think he'd throw his own mother in jail for jaywalking. He's hard on crime sure but he's not gonna jail people for misdemeanors.
  15. That reveal didn't do much for me either, fortunately I found the rest of the movie enjoyable enough to move past that. I had hoped that Trevor being just an actor was a ploy and he really was the Mandarin after all, the idea being that he'd used Killian to take the heat off his organization, but I'm quite happy with what the one shot implied as well.
  16. Yeah the end credit scene killed my enjoyment of Ant Man and the Wasp, sad to say. If I were making a list that would drop the movie several spaces down just because of the sheer aggravation that scene caused me. Infinity War would be at the bottom but I've not seen it as Thanos is the most overrated villain in Marvel Comics and should never have been brought back, both the comics and the movies were better off with Thanos a lifeless statue that couldn't inflict itself on otherwise interesting comics and movies.
  17. I enjoyed the whole damn movie, it was fun which was more then I could say for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Or any movie with an Infinity War tie in. ?
  18. I enjoyed the movie up until the end credits sequence, which basically killed any good feeling I had toward it. The tie in to Infinity War was not wanted and made the movie worse for me and I hope the Infinity War sequel wipes him from existence so the heroes can go back to fighting interesting villains instead of the great purple Turd from Titan.
  19. Happy Fake Democracy Day to all you Americans out there.
  20. I admit I'm pulling for Germany myself. That being said, the idea of Mexico winning the whole thing is rather appealing. Just imagine how certain Americans might react.
  21. Actually I can't, at least not yet. I checked the Hot Topic online store and they don't actually have Golden Lovers t-shirts yet. Could get one for the Elite though.
  22. I do actually. I don't know where it actually is at the moment but I have one. A New Japan t-shirt too. Wanted a Los Ingobenerables de Japon one but the store didn't have any in my size.
  23. Liked the first movie, liked the second movie up until that ending which I despised then and despise now, walked out of the third one.
  24. I didn't see any coherent personal motivation from Killmonger. One moment he's Klaw's goon helping him achieve his plans with nary a comment, then out of the blue he's the big bad of the movie ranting about protecting Wakanda and such. Maybe if they'd built him up over a couple of movies, took the time to make him sympathetic BEFORE they established him as a mass murderer with no remorse I might be better disposed to the character as it is I have absolutely no investment in him or his goals. I do not understand what he does, I don't care what he does and making him the big bad of the film killed my interest in a movie that I was very much enjoying prior to that point.
  25. I think he's a two dimensional hypocrite and the idea that he could convince T'Challa of anything is patently ridiculous given that Killmonger didn't give a damn about anybody but himself. Killmonger's father now he could convince T'Challa he was right because he legitimately believed, I never once believed that Killmonger was doing anything but paying lip service to his father's beliefs in order to get what he wanted. The fact that he openly admitted to killing black people with no remorse makes it clear that he doesn't care about his father's goals of protecting black people. For me the movie went downhill the moment Killmonger took over as villain, I was far more interested in T'Challa getting his revenge on Klaw or why M'Baku's people chose to isolate himself in the mountains and waited until this moment to challenge for leadership of Wakanda.
