  1. Hmmm, maybe he learned the ability after watching Kong use it.
  2. And I would point out they were setting this up with the post scene stuff in the first Legendary and also the Skull Island movies. The thing that annoyed me most about the original with the lightning absorption is that we watched Godzilla do the same thing in G vs Mechagodzilla and use it to magnetize himself. I understand that there isn't going to be consistencies but Sheesh.
  3. I would assume a Colt, he was only a Bronco a couple years.
  4. Cmon Coach, you know I look like i just jacked off an elephant. I really like this movie (The Replacements), though I realize isnt high drama and has some things that happen that I think "they filmed that at 2 different times". One includes Hackman, on the last play yelling come on Matt(?) which is neither the actor nor his character's name.
  5. I really enjoy him and Troy Aikman, for similar reasons. Not only do they give excellent insight, they aren't afraid to say when a player just screws up. How many times have we hear either one say that you really need to make a play for your quarterback here. Collinsworth used to be really good when he was on the HBO show, but for some reason, he got to the point where he would not call guys out and everyone became arguably the best player in the league (unless they worked for Dallas, in which case they were the best despite a losing record with having the best position players in football at every position - influenced, I am sure, by the fact he works offseasons with the Cowboys as a roving instructor and they pay his bills). To the game itself, I agree with Pariah about the dropped passes, some from Kelce of all people who is known for his great hands, but I actually feel this is an epidemic in the NFL. Receivers who can make 1 handed flipping over backwards while keeping 2 feet in play catches missing simple first down throws wide open in the middle of the field OR team needs 8 yards on 3rd down and they run a 6 yard pattern. You see very few of what used to be called 3rd down receivers or control receivers - Beasley, Amendola etc.
  6. Romo mentioned early that KC's DBs hold a lot and I wonder if TB's coaches made a point of saying something to the back judges every time the got close. Other problem, mostly due to the o-line, KCs offense never really showed up. that was depressing in so many ways. Brady wins (I still think there are at least 2 SBs, especially SMVPS, he and the Pats should have been stripped of), the game was boring and not close. even when the score was still close, it wasn't close. Remember, KC stopped them on 3rd and 4th and goal from the 1, first time they had stopped anyone on 4th and 1 all season.
  7. I may be wrong, but when Dr. MId-Nite talked about American ignorance in ignoring them, I think (and I don't want to put words in his mouth) that he was speaking of the general public viewers who watch for the rockem-sockem and don't pay attention to the themes being presented.
  8. Or, they could have easily used Hel. Thanos knew her from the pre times, before Odin locked her up and thought she was ghosting him and then could be trying to get her attention. It also would have given why he attacked the Asgardians, for allowing her to be killed by Surtur.
  9. My brother has said that in last few seasons Goff has developed some serious happy feet.
  10. I also thought that the first movie established that like the MUTOs, Big G lived off of some form of latent radiation. I believe they theorized that most of the titans did.
  11. It explains KC's apparently complex seat of the pants offense. Of course, having a track team who can actually catch the ball (something to many wide receivers can't seem to do in todays nfl) helps and having a QB who can literally throw the ball against his momentum almost as well as with it.
  12. I assume you mean actually in the game, because I am pretty sure Denver has won twice now and they wear orange.
  13. I may be wrong, but didn't the leader of the "let all the monsters out to destroy the world to start over" guy escape last movie. Yes, he doesn't have the sound machine that was annoying Ghidora, but I wonder if he could duplicate it. Not to mention, didn't he have a piece of Ghidora at the end? Perhaps he is using that via "pheromones" to upset Big G. just throwing some thoughts out.
  14. One of my problems with TB this year is that its not the team that the front office built. They brought in Brady, who, upon seeing what was there, convinced management to bring in his "friends" : Gronk, who had retired, Antonio Brown who pulled all the BS with the raiders so he could get released and got to NE where Belichek got rid of him quickly and truthfully should have been in jail for hitting a police officer with his car, Suh and Pierre Paul who both have histories of doing dumb/destructive things. I joked with my brother that TB was the 70s raider - we don't care what you did off the field as long as we win. and of course Brady, who gets thrown in as the GOAT, but truthfully, would he have even been in the conversations if not for the cheating that NE did against the Rams in 2002 or any of the other stuff they were accused and proven to have gotten away with.
  15. Wait, so DaVinci Code was about Bernie, not Mary Magdalene? Explains so much.
  16. Well, Cap's shield and a holo generator was how Reed Richards depowered Guardian enough to stop him.
  17. same. I was a Dodger fan, so was watching due to that, but he was amazing.
  18. I am actually okay with that in a superhero movie. I will trade looks cool over physics in that type of movie most times, and the times he teamed up with Thor and IM to cause a cool effect and teamwork looked cool enough to warrant it.
  19. Wonder if it had something to do with a possessed desk.
  20. I see Archer beat me to it, but I was thinking Hobbits of the Corn. Same Idea though.
  21. Not sure if people saw this, but glad to see an owner put his money where his mouth is. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2021/01/19/mets-gm-jared-porter-fired-harassment/4209832001/
  22. I guess the question then is this: Is it more Heroic to face hardship and keep going so you really never fail OR to fail, fall down but keep getting up until you prevail or your enemies are walking over your dead body? I would say both are legitimate. To me, Steve embodies the first more then the second. Rasslor: Incredible. I could crush your body, I could smash your bones, but I could NEVER break your spirit. Someone earlier put that Hulk was in Thanos' league, but not true. When Hulk fought Thanos - pre Thanos getting the Gauntlet- he wiped with Hulk, to the point of being afraid to come out and fight Thanos again (my interpretation, though supposedly was just Hulk tired of fighting Banner's battles).
  23. Part of the problem with this was that they were also trying to shift leadership over to Valkarie in Marvel/Disney's move toward dominant females in their movies. Not complaining or saying was wrong, but they weren't exactly subtle about it starting with Captain Marvel, who out stripped EVERYONE but Thanos in power and almost matched him.
