  1. And again, they could have used Hel as their Death, so she was already setup. Hell, could have been a revenge motive for all that or an attempt to sacrifice enough people to bring her back.
  2. I wanted to see the season that a non malformed lion came out and explained the malformed original one was crazy. It got cancelled because no viewers, though I suspect they were growing. The advertising for it never did it justice since there wasn't an easy explanation. I know my wife started watching after she heard me laughing my head off in the other room and we did everything we could to get as many friends to tune in as we could. I think given a full season and then an intro to a second, word of mouth would have increased viewership.
  3. Almost as good as their predecessor Wonderfalls, which really needed to be allowed to keep going. this is not to say Pushing Daisies was not excellent, as it was, but I don't believe I have spent more time laughing out loud as I did watching the first few episodes of Wonderfalls.
  4. Would be nice if Feige allowed them to be moved into the MCU when they get around to integrating the Mutants and kept the casting but added back in the mysticism, as it is around in the MCU.
  5. And I liked his Sandman in the third one. Just everything to do with Venom was a problem. He seemed to really understand Peter/Spidey AND the villains (Doc Ock (who was fabulous), Sandman (who probably would have been very good if he had been given his own film) and I thought his Goblin was pretty good).
  6. then you would have to do the joke with an English accent.
  7. I sometimes equate it to the unbeatable wrestler, Goldberg, early Undertaker, etc. (I sometimes think of Cage in AEW whenever he first arrives on scene). Once the lose, they aren't unbeatable. Even if was an extraordinary event or person, from that point forward, you can't bill him as invincible. In some ways, Tyson was like that, once he lost to Douglas, his mystique was gone.
  8. Reminds me of Dr. Light from the old Titans runs, where he became a joke. They retconned it that someone (one of the Titan's other villians iirc) had done something to him to make him incompetent. Once he broke what was done, he became not only a threat, but worthy of Deathstroke and the villain leaders to offer him a position.
  9. I still dislike the hidden single enemy who had the power to take over Cait Sidhe and can take over anyone (Battle Ground makes the point too). I disliked the DS9 Shapeshifter war too. If the enemy can look like and infiltrate anywhere, you already lost.
  10. My problem with reboots is that if you are going to reboot, reboot. Too many writers came in after a reboot and wanted iconic stories to have happened that don't fit if you have a reboot. Like Barb being paralyzed, becoming Oracle. When you reboot to young Barb starting in college at 17 or something and being Batgirl, then it doesn't work if she was Oracle also, but Writers came in and wanted to write stories referring to when she was.
  11. photoshopping and cgi. everything is cgi these days, didnt you know?
  12. I don't know, that looks more of a Teal to me.
  13. One of the things I always loved about Jackman is unlike almost every actor who played a roll prior to him and had to do it over and over (possibly worrying about typecasting), he never said he hated playing Wolverine and always acknowledged that is what got him noticed and propelled his career. The stuff about Feige, to me, shows why the Marvel movies and MCU specifically, have been successful. Make entertaining movies for the non readers while keeping the characters recognizable to the for the fans (and throw in some hidden gems for them to go OOOOH to).
  14. dang, I was hoping you could tell us how to get the hippo on the bike when it is chasing you.
  15. Inspector Chimp. As I remember, there was an episode of B&B where they had the animal supers/sidekicks get together (Chimp, Ace from the B:TAS, can't remember the others).
  16. On AEW, the Inner Circle has one of the best 4th wall things so far to me. MJF is a snake and trying to take over, of course. So he does this stuff, which we see. The funny thing is, Jericho and the others will call him out on it and say, we all watch the show, we all saw what you did. Then MJF will look shocked like, what? I just find it fun to actually have someone call out someone else with stuff they did ON CAMERA.
  17. I just hope she isn't being a go between because the BIG GUY doesn't want to be seen buying it.
  18. Wish I lived anywhere in the area to help you, man. Best wishes and Prayers. I have stayed in my share of wyndham hotels, they also are part of the time share we own, and always found them clean and nice. Sorry your having apparently a bad experience there. You should, in all seriousness, look in the lobby for where they want there reviews and post the experience, though maybe wait till you leave. I guarantee there upper management will pay attention, as they were working hard over the last 5 years or so to boost their hotel chain.
  19. I am sorry, there was a 1998 Godzilla film? I thought that only existed in the same universe someone thought Highlander 2 was a good idea, ie a dark universe.
  20. I may have to suck it up and head to a theater to watch this, even if I do have to wear a choking device the whole time. And am I the only person who thinks this movie screams for IMAX?
  21. Something tells me one brother ended up with the ball a LOT more then the others when they were playing tackle the man with the ball (also known by other less presentable names).
  22. Glad to hear she is ok. sorry this happened.
  23. Wonder if he will go sign for less in Pittsburgh to play with his brothers.
  24. Looks like an old fort, though where it is I have no idea.
