  1. Re: Answers & Questions Q: Why is Obama wearing that jester's outfit? A: Lots and lots of salve.
  2. Re: Answers & Questions Q: This is a special rainbow designed ship. Is this violet button the start button? A: When down is up.
  3. Here is an exciting project for Herodom wrestlers out there. Suppose that the current lineup for WWE and TNA possess superpowers as per normal supers rules. A good suggestion (and can be ignored) is that the power(s) take either extra time or gestures, if not both. Example: RVD: Aid STUN and END; takes extra phase; gestures (points to self and says "RVD"). Since these are supposed to be the pinnacle of wrestlers, they should be built on more points than most other wrestlers out there. So lets see what you all think of building the Champions World Order (CWO).
  4. Re: Answers & Questions Q: What is this special ability that the Pope has? A: He's from the North.
  5. Re: Answers & Questions Q: How was your tour of the Sun? A: You now have the Glasses of Ignorance.
  6. Re: "Normals" gaining superpowers: how would they change in terms of mentality? While I cannot speak for anyone else, the presence of these powers would make changes in my life. Here is a breakdown of the way that I expect these powers would change me: This is simply a natural gun. As a result, I would treat it that way - when it was called for I would have it and use it to its proper effect. While this one may seem to be a great ability, I cannot see much use for it unless you are in a profession that calls for the ability to see through things (such as bomb squad). Has many advantages in detective work and playing pranks on others. This one would effectively eliminate the need for a private vehicle. Depending on the speed that I can travel at, I might just use this one to become a special Currier. This one would have the biggest effect on my life. I would simply travel from one casino to another and win at small hands. Never anything large enough to gain anyone's attention, but still enough to make a tidy little addition to my income.
  7. Re: Answers & Questions Q: So that is what happens at your nightly game session? A: For that is the day the Earth hiccuped.

    Armor Wars

Re: Armor Wars Here is a good possible reason why tanks are still commonplace in a supers campaign. Humanity tends to be reluctant to change. When something does work its way into society, while there may be alterations to some aspect of the device, the device itself will remain basically unchanged. Since tanks are commonplace in the modern military, powersuits will have to work extremely hard to prove their worth. Even then they will mostly serve as support for the more powerful armored divisions (such as tanks). As a result, tanks will always have their place and powersuits (if they exist) will basically be for the infantry and go to places that the more powerful tanks cannot get to. Suits such as Iron Man would be limited to the uber-rich who has some reason to sink all those millions into a suit that has uber-capabilities (like is done to real-world cars today).

    Armor Wars

In the standard supers campaign, anyone with only a few million dollars in disposable income could either create or hire a powersuit for his own use. In such a reality, why would the (especially the more powerful) government still use tanks that are large, cumbersome, and inefficient, especially when compared to the powersuits that could be quickly donned and transported by the infantry. I am wondering why the traditional tank is still in use in an age that has personal body suit that would be an equal to the tank in every way. The cost for both is effectively the same so that cannot be the reason and training time would actually be less for the suit so that cannot be the problem. Lets hear from Herodom assembled as for reasons why this might be the case.

  17. I have just seen the ending of the WWE PPV event. At the end, Cena won the match simply by duct taping Batista's legs around one of the posts. After witch I got thinking of a character that has duct tape powers. As yet I do not have any other possible stats, powers, skills, etc. I am issuing a challenge to all of Herodom for someone to create this character. No need to post the official Hero stats, a common language description will work just as well. I appreciate any and all comments and suggestions from all of Herodom.
