On the live action The Tick Episode "The License" the Tick got a Ticket for being a superhero without a license. When he went down the DMV to get his license the only thing that kept him from getting one was the fact he had no idea who he was besides being The Tick.

As Snake Plissken said "The more things change, the more they stay the same." There are basically three reasons for setting a story in the future. 1. Science Fiction Adventure along the lines of Star Trek, Space 1999, Space: Above and Beyond, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. These allow the use of futuristic technology in war/exploration scenarios. 2. Time Travel: There are two variants. One, the future is so bad that the heroes must change it (Terminator), or Two, the heroes are part of a future historical event and have influence on it without changing the outcome (The Final Countdown). 3. Allegory: The future has become a repeat of the past just with spaceships and lasers. There is an evil dictatorship that must be fought and defeated or escaped from (Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica).

I just saw a review where they played Anne Best meeting Wade McClusky. Yikes! Have they never seen a war movie before. Midway (1976) was better. The part of the War and Remembrance mini=series was better.

Midway (1976) Charlton Heston leads an all star cast in the story of the decisive World War Two naval battle. With Henry Fonda as Nimitz, Glenn Ford, Robert Mitchum, Hal Holbrook, Toshiro Mifune as Yamamoto, and Tom Sellick in a small role. They used World War Two combat films for the battle scenes and they look better then then new movie's.

The only reasons to watch that movie were Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, and Jaime King.

That's why Hart to Hart went off the air. No one would go over to the Harts because they were likely to be murdered.
