  1. On the live action The Tick Episode "The License" the Tick got a Ticket for being a superhero without a license. When he went down the DMV to get his license the only thing that kept him from getting one was the fact he had no idea who he was besides being The Tick.
  2. This is where you call the Paramedic, or have a Doctor just happen to show up and save Guppy's life.
  3. I'm getting my New New York Mets Blernsball Season Tickets, although last season was described as "One of Mankind's most awful crimes."
  4. I remember the first time I saw the trailer. It was 1980 in the Orange Cinedome waiting for The Empire Strikes Back. They got me with the line the exchange "Are you the police?" "No Ma'am, We're Musicians."
  5. I have a theory that Parker's first name is Rhonda.
  6. Leverage (2008-2012) Tim Hutton is a former insurance investigator who leads a team of criminals including a Grifter (Gina Bellman) a Thief (Beth Riesgraf), a Hacker (Aldis Hodge), and a Hitter (Christian Kane) who steal from corrupt corporate business people and politicians. Great humor and tons of science fiction references.
  7. Getting money from the Government to Clean it up.
  8. Given the poor quality of network TV I've been watching either Hogan's Heroes, Married with Children, or Deep Space Nine if it's a good Dominion War episode.
  9. So Lucius Fox died because he didn't have an ice maker. And Batwoman was defeated by a pick up truck.
  10. Twilight's Last Gleaming (1977) A former General (Burt Lancaster) and three military convicts take over a nuclear missile control center and threatens the President (Charles During) with the launch of nine Titan missiles unless pays them $10 Million Dollars, reads a secret document on television, and allows himself to be used as a hostage.
  11. Black Sunday (1977) Robert Shaw plays an Israeli Agent trying to stop a terrorist attack on the Super Bowl using the Goodyear Blimp. Based on the book by Thomas Harris (Silence of the Lambs).
  12. As Snake Plissken said "The more things change, the more they stay the same." There are basically three reasons for setting a story in the future. 1. Science Fiction Adventure along the lines of Star Trek, Space 1999, Space: Above and Beyond, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. These allow the use of futuristic technology in war/exploration scenarios. 2. Time Travel: There are two variants. One, the future is so bad that the heroes must change it (Terminator), or Two, the heroes are part of a future historical event and have influence on it without changing the outcome (The Final Countdown). 3. Allegory: The future has become a repeat of the past just with spaceships and lasers. There is an evil dictatorship that must be fought and defeated or escaped from (Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica).
  13. A Rollerball/Soylent Green situation?
  14. Is this a Batman Beyond kind of thing?
  15. As a matter of fact it does say "Colonel" on my uniform.
  16. I would have walked out of that movie on an airplane.
  17. I just saw a review where they played Anne Best meeting Wade McClusky. Yikes! Have they never seen a war movie before. Midway (1976) was better. The part of the War and Remembrance mini=series was better.
  18. It was a good show as long as you only watched it. Love Stefanie!
  19. They orginally wanted Lucille Ball for the mother.
  20. I always thought she was a serial killer and just was good at shifting the blame.
  21. Midway (1976) Charlton Heston leads an all star cast in the story of the decisive World War Two naval battle. With Henry Fonda as Nimitz, Glenn Ford, Robert Mitchum, Hal Holbrook, Toshiro Mifune as Yamamoto, and Tom Sellick in a small role. They used World War Two combat films for the battle scenes and they look better then then new movie's.
  22. The only reasons to watch that movie were Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner, and Jaime King.
  23. That's why Hart to Hart went off the air. No one would go over to the Harts because they were likely to be murdered.
