  2. I'm just putting up generic characters and skill sets. I found I don't have time to come up with a whole backstory or look up the background of a popular character. Use them as you will.

  6. No Way to Treat a First Lady by Christopher Buckley. The First Lady catched the President in bed with another woman and throws a lamp, hitting on the head. The next day he's found dead and she goes on trial for murder. Not as good as the author's The White House Mess. Recommended along the same lines E Pluribus Bang by David Lippencott President George Ramsey Kirk finds a Secret Service Agent in bed with his wife, and shoots the Agent dead. The CIA Director tries to cover it up.

  8. That might be why it didn't work on the zombie guy (the villains are Flash are so dull I can't even remember their names anymore).
  9. The difference between a Champions campaign, and a Western Hero (or Justice Inc., Dark Champions, etc) is that superheroes have to pay for their attack, defense, and movement powers along with their skills and characteristics. Western Heroes pay for the skills and characteristics only, which allows them to access weapons and transportation (horses and wagons) they don't pay points for. Money becomes more important when you have to buy items.
  10. What do you wear to a stalking? Stockings? No, that's too on the nose.
  11. I figured it out. Last year Barry and Oliver traded places and Oliver became the Flash, so he will do so again allowing the real Flash to survive the Crisis. I was wrong about who took Barry's place.
  12. I have a couple of the V&V comic books somewhere in my collection. I used to play the game but every time I rolled of an occupation I rolled "God".

  14. In Joe Haldenman's 1974 novel The Forever War both humans and aliens developed a stasis field which prevented the use of technological weapons. Both sides because using low tech weapons like pikes, javelins, and swords in the field instead.
  15. This concept was used in The Watchmen with Doctor Manhattan but while he seemed to know what was going to happen he couldn't react to it until it did. They did that a lot in Babylon 5, the best example was "You will be Emperor as well."
  16. The only time meeting your future self worked was in Brisco County Jr..
  17. With Supergirl's new hair style they should have hired Kat Denning to be Batwoman and then it would have been Two Costumed Girls.
  18. Legends of Tomorrow is the best things on the CW. Of course that's like being the finest ballerina in Galveston.
  19. I will admit that Batwoman was a little better last night. Her relationship was a little forced and as awkward as Gomer Pyle explaining combat to Audie Murphy. I don't mind her missing the batarang or even sneezing since it shows her getting used to the equipment and getting info by trading a selfie for it was cool. But Katherine saying that they searched for Beth but didn't find so much as a "Sock" was a weird turn of phrase. I mean I could understand a "Hair" or a "Clue", but a "Sock"?
  20. Cassandra

    Dome City

    Reminds me of Logan's Run.
  21. The new suit looks like a costume she wore in the early 1970s in Adventure comics, back when she was working for a San Francisco TV News Show. The practical reason she went from skirt and pantyhose to pants was Canada is Cold.
  22. Katie McGrath as Mindlock. She's a millionaire businesswoman and a mentalist.
  23. On the same point Arrow fell apart because not only did they keep the flashbacks going after he got off the island, but now has flashforwards about a team of heroes less interesting then the Arrow's own team. That's on the same level as the DC Extended Universe making Aquaman the most popular male superhero. It's an achievement, but I'm not sure anyone will want to pick up the award.
