Milley is not going to sue Gosar over being insulted. Milley won't even lose sleep over it. Instead he is getting ready to be called for Trump's federal trials under Smith.
I don't know if Trump is going to jail over his crimes, but he lost both of the Carrol trials (Garland reversed the DOJ standing that Barr had started in the first trial and down he went), it looks like he might be out of business in New York and owe the state millions of dollars (Rumor is Leticia James is going to ask for Billions in damages). The three criminal trials may or may not be choppy for him, but his co-defendent Ken Chesbro keeps filing motions revealing the nature of the crimes for Fani Willis in front of his speedy trial that he asked for and most everybody else said Whoa there! The exception was Sydney Powell who is going to be sitting at the table with him when he goes to court in Atlanta.

The Boris Karloff Horror Anthology
This is a collection of short stories that Boris Karloff curated. There are stories by Poe, Lovecraft, Robert Bloch, Robert Silverberg and Roald Dahl among others. There is one that I don't think is scary but perhaps I don't understand it ? That is about reading a grave. Poe's story has a sequel written by another writer and both of these are good. Lovecraft and August Derleth have Cthulhu Mythos stories. There is another good one called the Mind Worm by C M Kornbluth who I had not heard of before.
Kornbluth was a pulp writer in with Howard, Lovecraft, Ashton and the rest. I don't know if he was in that circle but he was in that era along with Silver John's Wellman, De Grandin's Quinn, and Street and Smith, the publishers of the Shadow and Doc Savage.

The Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle was built on a reboot of the Dan Garret Blue Beetle where his mystic amulet is basically a green lantern ring of tech. At one point, the beetle was in Egypt, and then moved to Mexico, and now is back in Egypt with his new series. And his setting has been rebooted three times including a sane Peacemaker back from the dead at one point.
And now there are rainbow beetles in imitation of the Rainbow GL corps.

Steve Lehto has a video up about the police seizing a newspaper's and employees' equipment for a story they hadn't written. The owner had a heart attack and died afterwards. The local prosecutor assured the paper they would be getting their things back. The newspaper is looking to sue on the grounds of rights violations.

no surprise there. Trump's lawyer, Boris Epshem (sp?)was charged with sexual assault at a club in Arizona in the last few years. This just came back up with all the furor around Trump's indictments.

Read Dead Man Walking by Green. Jones and Belcourt are asked to look after Frank Parker in a detention center so he can be debriefed and worked back into civilian life. Then the murders start happening.

I admit I hit a wall. I just reread the thread. I looked at my list. I thought about some picks. I need two animal/vegetables, Interference, and a mythic monster/guardian. The interference was actually the easiest one to come up with at the moment.
The murdered continent spontaneously generates Gandians. Created from atoms being destroyed and wrapping themselves in lead to protect the lesser races, these flying humanoids began using the continent as a birthing zone to create a Legion of Heroes.
The first animal pick is the Mons. These creatures are very much like the chimeras since they are mixtures of animals that have built themselves from other animal parts. And they love to fight any challenger. Some heroes domesticate them to use as force multipliers.
The second animal/flora pick is the fireflower. This dangerous plant is know to throw lances of flame at anyone coming close to it, and can be planted anywhere.
The Mythic Guardian is the Walker, a hero armed with a book of dooms, a mons made of lightning squirrel, and a map of the world, travels using the cracks to go where he is needed and to stop anything he can.

Yeah, I don't know what would be worse: he's the only killer but they only can link him to those 4 deaths -- or there's more out there in that area using the beach as a dumping ground.
The FBI estimates that there are between 25 and 50 serial killers in the country at any one time. That's why they created VICAP

I love Simon Greene's stuff from way back. Started with the Hawk and Fisher and have progressed through almost all of it (Nightside, Deathstalker, Secret Histories (Golden Torc), Ghost Finders). Problem I started having was every pairing he did became variants of Hawk and Fisher - same mannerisms, same attitudes, same sayings. I had high hopes for Jones, but halfway through the book he and the woman helping him morphed into the same characters. Again, I am a fan of his stuff and loved all I had read, just became too repetitive. Was hoping for more.
I never got that impression but if you read a lot of the stories back to back like I did, you could see that he cut pasted whole pages from earlier books to later books. Drake did that with the RCN books until he introduced his new point of view characters.
