if you don't tip, you won't get it. We have had nontipping food wait for Doordash an hour, but tipped food go almost before we can make it.

-Isaac was very good but the story was uneven.

-Andor is a very well-written and well-acted political/spy drama that happens to have laser pistols and spacecraft.

Who is like a comic book. It has some good runners and writers and actors, and it has some bad ones. The BBC hired Russ Davies to come back to run things with his own production company, and he got money from Disney to do things.

I haven't seen any of Chibnall's/Whittaker's episodes but I did hear the ratings for the show fell out, and then it took them three years to get the replacement in place with Tennant as a stop gap.

Funny enough I was watching a thing on Who lore such as it is (Cygnia is right about continuity issues which are like how DC's are now, but I put down to the Doctor changing things on adventures which changes the timeline.) and Moffat said that the original Doctor had died and everything after Hellbent was with a replacement Doctor.

And that's before you get into the Doctor being split into two with Fourteen and Donna having a happy ending, and Fifteen taking over the show.

Read a collection of Solomon Kane stories by Howard. Some of these I have read before, some of them were new to me. I have to say that Kane is more dogged than Jonah Hex, tracking a bandit across the ocean, across Europe into Africa, and then tracking him to where he has set up as the right hand of the chief in the jungle. This is a pursuit that took up years of Kane's life.

Favorite of the batch is The Return of Richard Grenville and the melancholic Solomon Kane's Homecoming.

While this is a bit of crankiness, given the subject matter, I'm putting it here.

I had to drop off a package at the local post office, and I noticed a little stand on the sidewalk, with a big sign saying, "Defend Trump". I was going to ignore them, but as I was getting back into my car, one of them waved me over. Probably not his best idea. After I asked why are we defending a billionaire, his response was, "well, they're trying to take it away."
To which I responded, "Good. He deserves it." I then gave him a short rundown of how he stiffed a company I worked for ("I don't know the details of that"). So, then I explained to him about how Trump Tower was built using undocumented workers. I finished by saying that he is dangerous, should never be near the presidency again, and that he should be locked up. I then wished them a good day, and left. As I was getting back in my car, the gentleman I had been talking to looked like a deer caught in the headlights.

I am going with another time traveler, The Doctor. He is grossly overskilled compared to the people he deals with, can time travel and has changed events to suit him, and is nearly unkillable with marrying his primary assassin on his bingo card.

Nobody said that. What was said is that companies could pay more but don't because their executives are too busy taking everything like the hostess people expecting the unions to bail them out of their fourth bankruptcy while they are plating their bathrooms with gold like Jim Bakker used to do.

Both of these videos are years old, but it's what people were talking about and still applies now.

Doesn't matter. The point stands. He had to give the money for his contract back, had his new team pay to take him making his former employers a little bit richer and he has to move away from his former team. He said I'm not playing, and they said goodbye.
