GhostDancer reacted to Ninja-Bear in Martial Hero
Ok, @Ghost Dancer off the top of my head:
Offensive Disarm (it has better chance to hit)
Basic Strike
Martial Grab (one handed joint kicks might be more realistic but they’re more a pain in game)
Legsweep (as just a take down)
Ooh just thought of this custom maneuver;
Control: +0 OCV +2 DCV +10 STR for Control (as in Grab and Control) Must Follow Grab
Hows that for a start?

Challenge: choose and share at least 10 points of Manuevers for Taiho-jutsu (arresting art) (逮捕術), a term for Japanese police martial arts with selected techniques from modern disciplines, such as jujutsu, karate-jutsu, kendo, and judo, and further ideas gained from a study of Western boxing. Weapon Familiarities include short staff or jō, keijojutsu, which is still used by the Japanese riot police (although the staff used is somewhat heftier than that used in jodo), and keibo, a short police baton, in a range of techniques called Keibo-soho, as well as the extending tubular baton (Tokushu Keibo) which was adopted by the Japanese police in 1966.

On this day in 1976, in Paris, two California wines win top honors at a blind wine tasting by the best of France's wine experts. The French were shocked, and the wine world was changed forever.

In this day in history was officially my last day of being able to work at a paying job: 15 years ago.
Still thankful that I managed to drive myself home from work without an accident.
(I say "officially" because my workplace lost the paperwork of my exact last day and the Social Security Administration said to call it January 2nd. The actual date was sometime at the beginning of January. I nearly killed myself trying to drag myself to work when I wasn't really able to drive, couldn't do the work after I got there, and had to leave early to drive myself home in a harrowing experience...for several days in a row before I finally had to give up and admit that I wasn't capable of physically or mentally doing my job anymore.)

Scott Ruggles, my first acquaintance with you and Scott Bennie is a bit like yours, given that my Secret Identity is Will "Suffice" Geiger.

For those among my friends and followers who know Scott Bennie - or who know his work - I have the difficult news that he has been hospitalized and undergone surgery. I do not know what his current condition is, but according to his sister, he is undergoing significant rehab. He has no access to a computer or the Internet and is very much cut off. As I understand it, you can send him an email address to the following address, using the following information to ensure a message is hand-delivered to him by the Volunteer Resource team. This will be the only way he knows friends and fans are thinking of him. youvegotmail.ARH@fraserhealth.ca Robert Scott Bennie Unit: Baker 3 Room 109

I hadn't heard anything about him in several years and didn't even know he was in a continuing care facility or had suffered from falls.
The only reason I haven't fallen a lot is that I've been very lucky and move very gingerly. So I know at least a little of what he's been experiencing.
Thanks for the information.

This is unfortunate. I met Scott before he turned pro, when we were in the same Fanzines. And in Carl Rigney’s sometimes PBM, sometimes live at convention games. After the endless volumes he wrote in that game, it was only natural that he would become a full time writer.

These health issues could be the result of a revenge plot by Viper operatives. As we all know, Mr. Bennie was instrumental as the whistleblower who revealed all those Viper organizational secrets by writing a manual disguised as a 'Campaign Sourcebook' for a mild-mannered superhero rpg.

Get well Scott Bennie!
