I understand the "gritty realism" part, and I tended in that direction, though my archenemy, mooks, and #3 option were more out of pulps and the limited extrapolation from reality inherent to those.  Ah well, I never vote for myself, so the question is, what others get my votes.

 

Sadly, DT, I think I am going to have to sit out this Creation Superdraft.  My life is far too full right now (and not in a good way) for me to give it the attention it really deserves.  That happened last year (albeit for different reasons; there, I was just too busy creating my on-line class as it was being taught) when I abandoned the draft in midstream.  I am afraid that this year all I'd do is come up with supernatural entities associated with different unpleasant ways to die and different unforeseeable misfortunes and ruin.  I think I'll spare myself and everyone else that experience.
