Pariah
There's a joke that BYU students like to tell about their long-time rivals to the north: Why did the University of Utah cancel their Christmas Pageant? Because they couldn't find three wise men, never mind a virgin.
Cancer
This is far more fun than it should be. I must be really into work avoidance this week.

I think I only have one of his stereotype General Zod replies so far, so that's pretty minor. It's not like I'd slagged off on Gillian Anderson or something. Cancer
Minor question ... On a different forum, I saw a user profile image I admired, but my chemistry is too weak to know its name. It was a molecule representation. Benzene ring. Hanging off the angle at the top of the ring was an OH. Hanging off the angle at about 4 o'clock on the ring was either an NO or an NO-minus. Is that a real substance, and if so what is it called?

Hey I happen to like Gillian & X-Files. At least it was better than that mediocre sci-fi series from the 60s that was cancelled after 2 seasons. This, you mean? This is called 3-nitrophenol or m-nitrophenol, depending on which system you're using (IUPAC or common nomenclature). If there's only one oxygen rather than two, it's an ion of some kind. If it even exists, which I can't remember enough O-chem to comment at the moment. Cancer
Yeah, the OH NO was the feature of the pic I remember. I'm almost certain it was not NO2, which means that the image is more of a pun than a real substance. Which was OK for the context in which I saw it.
