Re: New Justice League anime tomorrow?

Does any one know if tomorrows JLU premier is the first half of the recently released Starcrossed movie?

No. Starcrossed was the 3-part (3 half-hour episodes) finale to season 2 of "Justice League". "Justice League Unlimited" is new.

Re: New Justice League anime tomorrow?

JLU and Teen Titans both start their new seasons tomorrow.

Teen Titans @ 8pm Eastern

JL(U) @ 8:30 Eastern

Note: Cartoon Network still has it listed as Justlice Leage in their schedule

hence the (U) above.

Just saw it. Pretty darned good' date=' I daresay. The host of cameos alone induced geekgasms.[/quote']

I for one never thought I would see Sand, Mr. Terriffic, Atom Smasher or any of the other members of the JSA animated, even in cameo, ever. TVTome.com has some spoilers up, and apparently there is an upcomming episode featuring Amazo vs. two dozen members!

Oh I loved it so much fun trying to work out who was who. There where few I didn’t recognize unfortunately but I think I got a good 90%.

What I liked

Green arrows boxing glove arrow was brilliant

Character interaction is as ever very good nice dialogue and well set up.

the watchtower teleporters

the giant atomic monster was pretty nifty

captain atoms thumbs up

and why green lantern stayed on the team.

What I didn’t like

Green lanterns beard it make him look like a super powered wazzock.

Green lantern being a super powered wazzock. he has the power to create flying energy platforms. So how does he get the fleeing villagers to the other side of the gorge? by making a foot bridge then standing there while the giant atomic robot monster comes and fries his green glowing behind.

The nasty design of the new watchtower.

Lame computer generated graphics (actually they weren't to bad but it reminded me of the annoying Chris Colorado which was always on toonami between good stuff like batman beyond and outlaw star).

Re: New Justice League anime tomorrow?

Loved it, especially since I'm geek enough to name at least 90% of the people we see in the background.

In general, I rate it at A+! And I gave the original JL a B+.

Two things I didn't like...

1) Transporters, so now we get the stupid Trek logic flaw of "why didn't they just beam X out, or beam X in when they needed to" which the writers will probably have to deal with constantly. (They already did a "trek" today with the line "we can't use the transporters, too much radiation", are they gonna do it every week?) Nice idea, but they're a real pain, at least one comic league just used the "boom tube" site to site transporters which required a station at each end...

2) Yay! Superhero army! And then they all apparently sat and ate popcorn and watched while the only four people who got sent down fought for their lives ...At least league could have tried to send help, and had them show up late...T-port fast people (Flash, Superman) to the edge of the radiation zone and let them rush in, since radio did work. (See, there's that transporter problem already...)
