Cancer
Birds will have (small) rocks in the gizzard, but AFAIK mammals don't carry rocks internally on a regular basis. If they do, it is probably painful.
L. Marcus
Had a kidney stone a couple of years ago. Not very pleasant.
Pariah
I had calcium deposits on both ankles. Again, not pleasant.

Cancer
About all I can bring to this is personal testimony that having a bicycle accident on cobblestones is not importantly different from having a bicycle accident on newly oiled & gravelled street. Well, your mother is slightly more annoyed by the latter because the oil stains your clothes more, but in terms of picking torn fabric threads out of a wound there isn't much to choose. L. Marcus
I was hit by a car once. Nasty abrasion resulted. Went to work anyway -- my brother the boss screamed at me. Went to the ER to have the injuries documented after the shift.

Cancer
Heh, we had a glimpse of it between shreds of clouds here about 11 hours ago.
tkdguy
My view would have been obscured by houses and trees, so I didn't get up for it.

L. Marcus
Thanks. It went reasonably well. Still woozy from the shot of Mirtazapin I downed beforehand. It was just the first part this, though. The filling will take place at a later date.
Cancer
Did you have paranoid hallucinations too, like I did?
L. Marcus
Nope, but the Mirtazapin made me a bit unsteady.

L. Marcus
Only if it's fermented.
Cancer
Will it ferment? It always seemed more like a structural component to me. To engage in a cross-cultural analogy, I always thought marzipan is to northern European foods as Bondo is to rednecks' beat-up old cars. Pariah
From Wikipedia: Marzipan is a confection consisting primarily of sugar or honey and almond meal (ground almonds), sometimes augmented with almond oil or extract. I expect that would ferment quite nicely.
