CthulhuAd
One of my players has got himself a zeppelin. The zeppelin listed on page 311 of Pulp Hero is a good start and around the right size, but are zeppelins further detailed in any other Hero supplement? I'm looking for detail as found in the Pulp Hero Vehicle Sourcebook. Cheers in advance.
Edsel
Re: Zeppelins! I am sure that zepplins have come up several times before on this forum. A search of the forum might yeild soom good information.

CthulhuAd
Re: Zeppelins! On Edsel's suggestion I have found this single thread in the Pulp forums: "Has anyone worked up a Zeppelin?" which sort of has what I looking for, but not quite as it is specific rather than generic. I have also discovered references to the 'Pulp Reference Guide' book. Has this book been published or cancelled? As it sounds like it could be quite useful. BobGreenwade
Re: Zeppelins! You could also just increase the blimp's DEF to 7, defining it as a special lead coating. That way you could have a.... ...okay, I'll be quiet now...

Air Pirate
Re: Zeppelins! Your friend has good taste. You can find stats for zeppelins in The Ultimate Vehicle supplement (p.75). Which is basically the same as in Pulp Hero. Both are pretty good builds but I think max lift is still to high. Check the Crimson Skies Planes Conversion thread further down in the Pulp Hero Genre forum. I placed my write-up for the ZR4 Akron on the first page there. If you also check QuestionMan's Pulp Hero Resources page, theres some good links there too. Too the Skies!

Publius
Re: Zeppelins! Here are some maps I have done for the boards... The R100, according to the design plans that were in actual use. The R100 modified to serve as a mobile base. Is there any way to get those to thumbnail without having to re-upload them?

Shaddakim
Re: Zeppelins! Here are some maps I have done for the boards... Hey, what software did you use to make those maps? They came out crisp and clean and I like that.
CthulhuAd
Re: Zeppelins! Thanks everyone. Following Edsel's suggestion I searched the Pulp hero forum for previous posts on zeppelins. The only thing I could find that was specifically PH-stat worthy was this thread: Has anyone worked up a Zeppelin? http://herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40553 Where I discovered that John Desmarais had done virtually everything I needed. Thanks John. Also Steve Long: in the thread above you mention the Pulp Resource Guide. Is this do-do dead or King Arthur dead? I've seen references to the project's demise but I can't find anything definite. Maybe a PDF only release? Does this mean that Lands of Mystery 2e is also cancelled? I've got the first edition and that was great.... Also 2: this is the third time I tried posting this only to recieve a message saying moderators have to approve my post, which they haven't done after three days. Is it the link to the thread that's causing the problem?

Category: Films featuring airships http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Films_featuring_airships Airships in culture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airships_in_culture Island at the Top of the World http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Island_at_the_Top_of_the_World CHECK THEM OUT!!! QM P.S.: A long time ago I got to ride on the Good Year Blimp. It was fantastic and fun for a 8yr old. I have had an obsession with Airships ever since. I once found online the maintenance and servicing costs for the Good Year Blimp and even day dreamed about operating a Airship Tourist/Transportation business in Vancouver and along the Pacific Coastal Mountains and The Rockies. Imagine the view.
