DocD - where'd you learn to speak Cornish? (props ) I only know about a dozen Cornish words I'm afraid, but I do know a great insult that actually comes from some old text: Bram an Gath. [my spelling, could well be wrong]. What it means is 'the cat's fart'...
Singingcrow
Re: in the spirit of christmas! DR. D! Du Nos pics are incredible! You really knocked it out of the park. Very cool look, dark & gritty. Awesome. In case you haven't picked up on it, I like very much. I'm gonna have to try & create a character just because of those illustrations. DrDestiny
Re: in the spirit of christmas! Next up is one of les Blaireaux de la Mort. As usual, shocking liberties taken and I'm still a bit rubbish at drawing armour. In a vain attempt to make it look like I do proper research on my pics, the rifle is (of course) the WW1 French Lebel rifle.

DrDestiny
Re: in the spirit of christmas! No progress on these for a while I'm afraid, as I'm currently working on the art for a very small strip, that's to be published by a very small independent publisher. DrDestiny
Re: in the spirit of christmas! In case anyone fancies a look, here are the links to the Doctor Destiny strip I've beem playing around with. It starts off pretty crudely and tightens up as it goes (a bit). The idea behind it was simply to see if my style works in a narrative format, and I think the jury's still out on whether it does or not. All opinions are more than welcome, as the point of it it to (hopefully) improve. http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p1-97463938 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p12-98778259 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p13-99204317 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p14-99341805 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p15-99522211 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p16-99601526 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p17-99873641 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p18-99873797 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p19-100512024 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p20-100615386 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p21-100883427 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p22-100893396 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p23-100978348 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p24-101073455 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p25-101263555 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p26-101554678 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p27-101705325 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p28-101831079 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p29-102259136 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p30-103189209 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/doctor-destiny-origins-p31-103189278 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-Pre-110930314 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p01-113752685 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p02-114075434 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p03-114195833 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p04-114850467 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p05-115049997 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny-Trials-p06-115513803 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny-Trials-p07-118443807 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p08-118868844 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p09-119349562 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny2-Trials-p10-120755514 http://drdestiny.deviantart.com/art/DocDestiny-Trials-p11-123761023
