For some reason, that part of the movie was only lightly touched on.

I was constantly hoping that Spider-Man would somehow get her out of that house.

Turns out she had to do it herself :shrug: That's some Super-Heroes I suppose...

Kinetik: With his college career in the University of Michigan assured, hard worker Brendan Grant felt he knew what to do with his life. Get a degree in chemistry, become a famous scientist and help the world.

 

And then Detroit was destroyed by Dr Destroyer. Brendan was horrified at the destruction of his city and his house. He thought his whole family was dead. And then he heard the sound of his 3 siblings and found them in the wreckage, next to his alive parents and the UNTIL agent who had broken rank to save them.

 

Brendan knew what he had to do. When he finished his degree he joined UNTIL and began work on their various super soldier formulas. He helped discover, by accident, a serum that could make a person move at speedster levels for half an hour at a time. But when he himself tried it, he became a superhuman permanently

 

Now with true powers, he was invited to join UNITY, a position he holds with pride.

 

Nightwind: Stephen J. Chase in his quest to find the legendary Yengato Temple and improve his martial arts, discovered instead an abandoned castle, that seemed centuries old despite it's excellent condition.

 

Always curious, Stephen entered and at once felt like he was being watched by some darkness. Sudenlly he was assulted by statues of samurai brought to life. For his credit Stephen did very well, destroying a statue with a kick before being taken down.

 

He was dragged to an ornate room where he was face to face with the legendary "Dragon Mandarin" Dr Yin Wu. Upon seeing the strength of the young man, he offered him a choice. Accept his dark power and become one of the most powerful warriors in the world while serving his cause, or become his mindless slave and recieve the gift anyway.

 

Stephen was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He took the powers, and felt it consume him with energy. Then he disappeared in smoke. Dr Yin Wu smiled.

 

"Part A has begun."

 

Appearing thousands of miles away, Chase was in Detroit wearing a dark cloak and armour. He was stronger and could channel dark Chi as destuctive blasts and punches. Not knowing what to do, his path was decided when he saved a woman from getting mugged.

 

He was going to be a hero, despite the questionable nature of his powers. He would redeem himself for his choice. And he would stop Dr Win Yu. He was the Night Avenger.

 

And from his valley in China, Dr Win Yu chuckled to himself.

 

I've left it quite vague what Dr Win Yu has planned. I think it would be more fun for you guys to think what it could be, incase you used it for your campaign.

Mary Jane Watson never met Peter Parker because he was already globetrotting as a super-spy so she was on her own when Kulan Gath came to New York City. After she defeated him, she kept the sword. Once she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career it came in handy as she magically transformed into Red Sonja to fight the various werewolves, vampires, and demons which seemed to plague that city. It got complicated though when Red lost to Moon Knight and fulfilled her vow without Mary Jane knowing...

maybe dr wu yin wanted to create a hero so he'd have done at least one good thing for mankind to balance his evil or increase it by creating a hero to batlle his enemiesso they won't oppose HIM

I mean, besides giving her the "casual sexual assault" backstory, they link it to her main story by giving her the vow to only have sex with a man who can best her???

Not especially. Fortunately it doesn't come up often, and honestly she can't afford to take (male) lovers. Not exactly a world with easy access to birth contro. Maybe I should have had Mary Jane be possessed by Red Sonya of Rogatino instead...

Gwen Stacey did not die from the fall off the bridge. She eventually forgave Spiderman for her father's death. She continued her research in biochemistry and successfully recreated the super soldier formula. Not wanting to endanger anyone else, she injects herself with the serum. She develops peak human abilities, and decides to honor her father by fighting crime. She also knows the formula would be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, so she destroys it and all her notes.

DC kinda did this for a parallel Bruce Wayne. The movie he went to see with his parents wasn't Zorro' date=' it was a cowboy flick (I forget which one). His code name is Paladin, and he is exactly what you would expect Batman to be if Batman were a gunfighter.[/quote']

 

 

The most appropriate movie would be High Noon. The ultimate stand-alone lawman who must face down evil without any help from the town he's sworn to protect.

 

Plus--his nemesis is Frank Miller. And as we all know, Frank Miller ain't a regular kind of mean--he's a crazy kind of mean.

Bruce Waynes parents never die, he goes on to be a spoiled rich kid, who later manages to seize control of the Family bussiness, later a man is "accidentally" dropped into a vat of chemicals that Wayne illegally dumped, he becomes the Joker and seeks revenge against Wayne, becomming a great crime fighter along the way.

Superman-Batman #16-17, part of the "Absolute Power" storyline. It didn't turn out quite like you outlined, but it's one take on "what if the Waynes didn't get killed"?
