Marcus Impudite
(You'll need a d6 for this one) Helpless Holly, the campaign's perennial damsel in distress, has once again blundered into the clutches of some dastardly villain. This time you arrive at said villain's hideout to find Holly being suspended by a crane over a large transparent tank containing... (roll your die) ...A shark with a frickin' laser attached to its head. ...A school of ill-tempered mutated sea bass. ...An anaconda. ...Several hungry-looking crocodiles. ...Electric eels. ...A tentacle monster. As you enter, the villain sneers at you, presses the red "RELEASE" button on the crane's remote control, and takes off running. WWYCD? hfergus
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly One at a time... Volt. All six options. Use his magnetism to effect the crane to let her down away from the tank. Or hold her above it while others shut it down. Olorin. All six options. T-port the beasties to Antarctica. Rescue the girl. Black Tiger. All options. Swear. Try his best to rescue her however. Leadman. All options. Grumble under his breath. Use his strength to rescue her as best he can (disable the crane would be his first attempt.) Futurian. All options. "Ya gotta be kidding! Cliche city!" Use his powers to affect the crane to let her go. And in the case of most, tranform or control the crane to sic the monsters on the villian. How about picking up the shark and aiming it at the baddie?
BlueCloud2k2
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly For my Character Super Blue: 1 and 2: Says "Well there's something you don't see every day," before using his 2d6 AP PEN energy blast to attempt to shatter the tank. Even if it fails, the shockwave should deal stun damage to the sharks (sound travels better in water and all that). 3 and 4: Swears and flies at high-speed, attempting to get catch Holly. Failing that, uses his Autofire EB on the Gaters/Crocs and his 4d6 RKA on the Anaconda. 5: "How shocking!" After blasting the tank. 6: Goes after the villain. Holly will probably enjoy the TM j/k He actually would try catching Holly, and baring that battles the tenticle monster. My other character, War God: All six options: Uses TK to rescue Holly and pursues the villain.

Lucius
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly Out of Character: show the thread to a hot gamer chick Lucius Alexander The palindromedar notes that we happen to know a hot gamer chick named Holly, but she's not helpless
Black Ops
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly Black Ops: "Yawn..." gates Holly to safety and the Villain into his usual Prison Cell. Headcase: Takes possession of the mutated something and sets Holly onto the ground. Then goes after the Villain. (Has after all a tracking sense.)/Alternately tries to hold her using his TK Yomi: Goes at the Monster at the risk of letting the Villain run. Drhoz
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly Vitus : Go after the Villain. Then, having broken his arms and legs, throw him into the tank as well. Unless it's mutant sea bass, in which case breaking his face against the rim of the tank until he drowns in his own blood would be more satisfying. Holly will just have to take her chances, alas. Vitus really doesn't like people manipulating his behaviour. Zero : TK Holly to one side of the tank, and Mindblast the villain a couple of times. Problem solved. Or mindblast the critter, which would be easier, and drag the villain back by his villainous mustache.
Drhoz
Re: The Perils Of Helpless Holly hmm, I should include Rumbaba the Goblin's response too, now. Which is rescue the girl! Trying to backstab multiple crocodiles is going to be fun, but it would be totally unacceptable to leave a lady in mortal peril, or indeed any other kind. And she might even be grateful *wistful sigh*
