Most of my npcs are copies or tributes of some kind. My favorite is flying fox who was bitten by a radioactive squirrel and gained squirrel powers.

 

Nicely (and humorously) done. I played the same little game with the Ordinary People Enhanced by Radioactive Animals (OPERA) and a league of *Insert Name of Animal* -Man for a comedy campaign I ran.

I feel I need to add Ben 10 to my watch list.

 

I quite like the show, myself, though it does have its hit-and-miss moments.

 

On a side note, Vixen has the worst luck with power selection when falling; she has yet to actually manage to 'dial up' a power set with Flight when that happens.

Right spelling would propably be "Das blaue Licht" (word by word) or "Die blaue Laterne" (closer to the original translation of Green Lantern).

Nice story, never heard of it before.

But I think I never read any Grimm Story except for Max and Moritz.

 

Edit: And I just realised taht story was from Wilhelm Bush. I seriously need to read up on my home folklore.

 

I picture him using a Pipe with blue glow from the inside instead of a Power Ring. And I don't think this blue is hope or compassion.

I was raised by a German grandfather and had a lot of bed time stories (when I was 5ish) and this post brought that story back to me. I'd heard it as a small child. Thank you! (Also repped)

I've actually seen many many Moonknight pastiches instead.

 

Hmm ... I can't recall one of those, either. Pure gadgeteer sorts have been rare; we see a lot more power-armor sorts, or 'guys with powers that use gadgets too', like a teleporting martial artist who has a pool for weapons and such.
