phoenix240
This is directed to the authors of "What would your character do?" threads. Do you have a goal for them? Are you testing potential scenarios for your games, curious what other peoples' characters are like or just tossing off an interesting idea and seeing what comes of it? Plus a quick shot of Methadone when I am really jonesing for a gaming fix and can't have one.
death tribble
Re: Why do you poist WWYCD threads? This also started a bloodbath of sorts as at one time there were several pages of them at once including derivations and it created bad feeling amongst those on opposite sides of the argument. Cancer
Re: Why do you poist WWYCD threads? It also provides a way for those who hang out mostly in the NGD area to get their gaming-forum post count up so they have nonzero rep power. hfergus
Re: Why do you poist WWYCD threads? I mainly post them to see what other people's characters do. I read other people's post for the same - and to get ideas.
Chuckg
Re: Why do you poist WWYCD threads? My posts on WWYCD threads are largely 'gaming methadone fix', as mentioned above.

assault
Re: Why do you post WWYCD threads? I don't usually post them myself, but my replies are firmly in the gaming methadone fix category. Finding "genre correct" answers to the questions is the real challenge, and I find it incredibly rewarding when I think I succeed. "Yes! That's what Superman would do!" This is especially cool when the situations are clearly aimed at evoking "what the Punisher would do" responses.
