The section fonts could have been done better, but that's a minor quibble. Love the Cover Art. Does anyone know who is depicted on the Cover? If they are not named, perhaps we should start a thread where everyone posts their idea of who they both are. So far, the text is VERY readable. Anyway, I think they're Cyclone and Firegirl, two character made up for the cover art. So we should have a contest to stat them up! The brevity is likely to have the effect of making some rulings unclear (although I felt that the 6e core rules went TOO FAR at times in explaining stuff that should be self evident.) Besides, always good to get new blood here Other than that it offers a nice, concise view of the rules. I love the fact that most of the power modifiers are in one section now (instead of having to check 3.5 sections of the books to find all of the possibly applicable modifiers for a given power in the core books) however I preferred advantages and limitations being listed separately (personal choice.) This being "Champions Complete" I was also hoping for a bit more in the way of world building as well, (Sort of CU Lite to go with HERO Lite) but no big loss as I have always planned to buy CU. All in all it is an excellent product, IMO and much less daunting when it comes to getting new players into the system. (The few people who have seen my copy of 6e1 laugh and go "your kidding" then get a shocked stare on their face when I mention that's just character creation). Good job DOJ!
