Matt the Bruins
Good plan, as long as you yourself aren't human... and you don't believe in evolution. I'd imagine the second is going to be true of anyone going back in time looking for the Biblical Eve. Though it occurs to me that someone killing Mitochondrial Eve could result in a human race populated with entirely different individuals throughout history, even though perhaps physically it wouldn't be all that different from the current version. Steve
The JFK assassination happened in tonight's session, but not quite as it did in the original history. The team discovered that Lee Harvey Oswald had been quietly killed several days prior to their arrival on the scene, so the team's wizard, using Summon, created a simulacrum of him, and also one of JFK. Several of the team shrunk down to the microverse, and one used his force field powers to seal shut the temporal fissure enabling Menton to reach this time. They then staged the assassination, but it didn't go quite as planned. The first shot missed, ending up hitting Jackie instead of the governor. They were then able to swap the real JFK with the previously-prepared simulacrum in a single moment, shrinking him into the microverse and replacing him with the simulacrum stored there. The second shot then went off, "killing" the simulacrum. While they were trying to figure out what to do with JFK, they consulted with the Archmage, who had been saved from his own death through one of their previous alterations of history. At the end, JFK ended up becoming an apprentice to the Archmage and going off with him. Checking future history, Jackie vanishes in a few years, and there began to be sightings of the couple throughout the world that most people never believed, treating them like Elvis sightings. Their next jump was their furthest one yet, back to Atlantis sometime before it fell into the sea, over thirty thousand years ago.
Ninja-Bear
Good plan, as long as you yourself aren't human... and you don't believe in evolution. According to genetics and evolution, they know that modern humans come from africa and all women share a common gene. An Eve gene if you will so Mechannon might go back in time and hunt down the Protohuman female-Eve to stop humans from evolving into what they are now. : p
Ninja-Bear
Btw, what does belief have to do with Eve? Iron Man doesn't believe in magic. That doesn't stop Doc Strange from using it. ; p

Ninja-Bear
What if the War of 1812 went differently? What would happen if Canada/Britain won? What if USA won? What if it caused a lasting hatred between the two countries? What if the North lost Gettysburg?
Cassandra
You can do that without time travel by sending them to New Mexico. Never Never Land was in Nevada.
