  1. ROTHFLOL! That was the funniest in a very entertaining post. How strange....Sapphire just popped up on the frame. Well maybe we shouldn't make fun of her and ol' Ben.
  2. One of my player killed a member of Psi (Soulfire to be exact...a young misguided youth of 19 ). We've taken a campaign hiatus which gives me time to think on what to do. I'm thinking of Murder Two and haven't decided if the DA wants to try to prove pre-meditation since the group was on patrol to do battle with Psi and "ran" into them. It was definitely an excessive use of force...Oh yeah, and the "hero" left the scene of the crime. Psi can also run amok with this...bad publicity and mental suggestions galore!
  3. Glad someone started this thread and am liking the input since one of my players did the same thing, sort of. But I'll start another thread so as not to hi-jack this one.
  4. Cool! Next purchase will probably be Kandris Seal!
  5. Some of my players expressed a desire to play in the Victorian Age...kinda Steam Punkish ala Wild, Wild West and LXG. Do you think Kandris Seal would work there?
  6. So like Isthava V'han or Zephyr in CKC? I like more villians that are more like super-thieves ala GRAB. They're wanted by the authorities, but the PCs can't help but like them.
  7. I am starting to agree. The PCs in my current campaign have been a little demoralized after being beat down across several Issues (issue = session). I don' t know if they would like it if the mooks started doing it to them also.
  8. Sorry...off topic Thanks! ENWorld Forum is actually THE d20 site, but since I have two other stories there and the moderator is pretty cool, I guess he's let me have a Champions story. There is a Rogue's Gallery on the boards somewhere on that site.
  9. you wouldn't happen to have the .hdc would you?
  10. So would you do a Modern/Pulp Era: Kandris Seal or a Fantasy Hero: Kandris Seal?
  11. So do you think your write-ups would work for Kingdom Come ? (heh..heh..now I'm subscribed!)
  12. That cover is Sick! I love it. What is that Thing crushing the UNTIL agent?
  13. Another good resource for a gritty, most-supers-are-grey, is Kingdom Come a DC Elsewheres series (although you can get it as graphic novel now). After I get my feet wet with the Champions Universe, I will give a crack at setting a game with that background.
  14. I guess you don't have Active Point caps on your powers?
  15. In the back of the book, they have basic combat stats for all the villians with notes on Combat Sheets. I could see that while not detailed, a GM could use these basics to design villians with powers that matched or gave a challenge to their PCs.
  16. That's easy... Dark Seraph and The Crowns of Krim. None are redeemable and they are hard to beat. As a GM I try and make them commit acts that the characters despise. For example: At the scence of a ritual slaughter, the Crowns left a message for the Team written in blood. It read: "Legion Extreme could not save us" The players and thus their characters were sickened.
  17. ::SPOILER WARNING:: This book is beautiful! I flipped through it and read the first scenario last night. Can't wait to run it, though I may change some of my villians to suit my own Champions Universe. i.e. Zephyr will have to be replaced by another female mutant (maybe Icicle ) since the Zephyr in my world was recently capture by the Crowns of Krim...were she will soon return as the Queen of the Crowns..mwhahahahaha But the great thing is that the scenarios are easily modified and adapatable, plus it is very GM friendly... with lots of notes and sidebars and gadget pool equipmemt!
  18. There's a question mark on the .pdf in the free stuff, though The London Watch and the Night Watch are defined.
  19. So what's the new line-up and are there any stats for them?
  20. While they are alluded to in CU, I haven't seen any write-ups. Is there any 4th edition supp that has any of these guys written up? Maybe any homebrews? I can't remember the composition of them off hand either.
  21. Re: Question Yes, good question! In our last adv, the party Mentalist was not even physically on the battlegroud---he was Mind Scanning, targeting and then Ego Attacking or Draining. I am sure that Mentalla could do much the same.
