I have this idea of how to deal with stretching:
stretching takes 1/2 a phase, but can happen while doing other things.
You can move and stretch, you can punch and stretch.
Unstretching takes no time but if your last 1/2 phase had you stretched, you are stretched until the beginning of your next phase.
if you need to unstrecth RIGHT NOW, you need to abort to unstretch
One could also buy a limitation that it takes 1/2 a phase to unstretch.
