  1. I'll spend a little longer polishing up what I've been working on tonight. I'm trying to avoid the penalties involved.
  2. Is it possible to have a character with the ability to do multiple actions on the same phases during a turn? One way I can think of is using a computer (or multiple computers?) linked to a character who has multiple cybernetic limbs, each capable of firing their own distinct blaster but that seems... rather involved to get the intended effect. I have a couple of other ideas for other characters that can do distinct multiple actions on the same phases during the turn, but let's work out this cyborg one first.

    Suicide Squad

I wanted to list a few more Dark Champions and Champions villains but waiting for a restore of the files from da man so I know which books I'm drawing from Laat year I ran a villain team game of Viper's most expendables - basically a suicide squad and it was allot of fun if short lived over the body count.

What kind of Suicide Squad/Taskforce X is this? The original grim outlook or the later playing potential deaths for yucks series? From 4E Dark Champions - Caliber From 4E High Tech Enemies - Kinetron From 4E/6E - Blowtorch From 4E Enemies of San Angelo - Firefly From 6E Solo Enemies - Deadman Walkin' From 6E Solo Enemies - Mantara Caliber and Blowtorch are the crazy SOBs. Kinetron is the powerhouse. Firefly is the weak link. Deadman Walkin' is the cold professional. Mantara is the fish out of water.
  6. The toy every boy wants growing up... a Big Wheels Car! Except his version goes 100 mph and has a smoke screen/oil slick or spike (in the shape of Jacks maybe?) dispenser out the back.
  7. I use both unmodified and modified Champions characters as well as my own creations. I tend to stay away from direct versions of Marvel, DC, Image or other characters but I have plenty of character inspired or based off of them.
  8. If you play together, rather than online I find a rolled up newspaper and a spritz water bottle are good tools to inform players they're being bad.
  9. Yeah there's a need to clarify the setting somewhat in order to answer this kind of question. If the game has a functioning government and military hierarchy then yes, superiors do need to be respected and obeyed but that comes with a caveat of who is in the chain of command and the situation of the ground. An Air Force General is not going to be giving legal commands to Marine Force Recon except under certain conditions for instance, though the Marines will respect the General.
  10. Regulator would shoot him in the mouth aiming for his tongue with an exploding bullet (2D6 RKA - AP & Penetrating)
  11. Enemies: Villainy Unbound I believe is his 3rd Edition debut.
  12. Yes. He was in one the earlier Enemies books too, but I think that was his updated 4th Edition version.
  13. There was Citadel in 4th Edition, who was a Viper flunky after failing as a hero who was a brick of sorts.
  14. I should have mentioned, that's how I use those characters - as written in 4th Edition, only Kinetron is directly a Viper goon. As for Boomerang, she's nothing particularly special even if she thinks so. Just a mook with an electrified Boomerang (a physical RKA with a conditional electrical EB if someone touches the boomerang unprotected) and as presented in CfC, the character details might be off.
  15. Kinetron and Caliber, from 4th Edition High Tech Enemies and 4th Edition Dark Champions respectively. Kinetron is an absolute monster when charged up, capable of tossing around your typical hero team. Where Kinetron is smart hammer, Caliber is a scapel wielded by a maniac. You got a tough hero with a weakness to certain attack? Caliber can tailor himself to deal with it. Need to lay down cover fire for the Viper agents to get away and not reveal your position? Caliber's got it handled. Need a nutjob willing to go out the front of the bank and shoot it out with the cops? Caliber. Or his future replacement, which of course Viper will equip after the latest one gets himself killed. Honorable mentions to Boomerang and Starhand from 4E Challenges for Champions, and Buzzsaw and Wallbanger from 4E Champions Presents #2. All four are great simple mooks. Wallbanger has the same gimmick as Kinetron which makes him pretty dangerous despite being only middling power wise, Boomerang is your typical blaster, Starhand is a brick with a couple of neat tricks and Buzzsaw your close combat specialist.
  16. I'm a bit of inconsistent when it comes to world building. Sometimes I do allot of it, sometimes I don't. Depends on the group I'm GMing for and what I can expect from them in being interested in the greater world outside of their immediate view. But if I'm writing up my take on something, let's say VIPER then I cover as much ground as I can.
