  1. Re: Under the Agony Star: a sword and planet campaign On the Dragonsfoot forums someone suggested Fire Newts from Fiend Folio. Those could work as the reptilian (okay, amphibian) race. I was also thinking of using the Grell as some alien menace.
  2. Re: More space news! "Please don't find water!"
  3. Re: World building resources I like a fair amount of realistic detail in my games as well. They don't play a major part of the game, but these little details go a long way in putting in some flavor in the campaign.
  4. Re: World building resources I have bookmarked your works, and I will use them for my campaign. Thanks for sharing!
  5. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Batman and Robin Williams Batman and Robin Givens Catwoman on a Hot Tin Roof And for a change in pace: The Chronicles of Roddick (sci-fi meets tennis)
  6. Re: More space news! "I can see your tracks from up here!"
  7. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread I wish I could afford those.
  8. Re: The cranky thread Sorry to hear that, Baloo! My thoughts and prayers for her and your whole family.
  9. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares To expand on this idea The New Green Lantern Corps Starring: Inspector Clouseau Peter Griffin Mr. Bean Mr. Bill Mr. Magoo Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo
  10. Re: Attention Star Trek Fans Another interactive one from last year: 60th Anniversary of Stanislaw Lem's First Publication Games included.
  11. Re: "Neat" Pictures I wasn't sure whether to post this one here or in the Creepy Pics thread: Siberian Bear Hunting Armor
  12. Re: A Thread For Random Links I know telling quadruplets apart can be a challenge, but seriously, WTF? No, I don't find it funny. I just need to share my outrage.
  13. Re: "Neat" Pictures The USA as a fantasy campaign map
  14. Re: World building resources A Magic Society: Ecology and Culture by Expedition Retreat Press This book talks about building game worlds from scratch, from creating maps to detailing cultures. It's listed as a d20 product, but is mostly generic with respect to game systems.
  15. Re: Attention Star Trek Fans I didn't know you could do that!
  16. Re: Under the Agony Star: a sword and planet campaign Rat-men may work (IIRC, they only had wererats; Warhammer had the Skaven). Lion-men, maybe? Sathar would be interesting.
  17. Re: Creepy Pics. Too many images to post, so I'll just post the link here.
  18. Re: Under the Agony Star: a sword and planet campaign I'm thinking of porting in a few D&D monsters into the game, even if I stick with Traveller. Mongrelmen would work, as would purple worms. Anything else?
  19. Re: Creepy Pics. Ernie looks like an Oompa Loompa.
  20. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Family Guy of Gisbourne Batman and Robin and the Seven Hoods Inspector Clouseau as the new Green Lantern
  21. Re: More space news! Spacewalkers used toothbrushes to help complete repairs
  22. Re: Under the Agony Star: a sword and planet campaign You could always use ERB's Tharks or the Thranx from the Humanx novels. Or you can use the races from the Star Frontiers game. I am curious about the differences between the two human races.
